1/ Who are our customers 🤔..

Well let's see! First of all, we (Core) should ask ourselves these:

What experience do we have in cryptocurrency, cryptography, utility ?

Why do we run this project?

What realistic goals we can achieve ?
2/ What kind of market can we focus on or (we focused) ?

How many resources are we ready to invest?

What audience (customers) we target?

How can we raise awareness about our product (are we able to do it) ?

How can we obtain our customers trust for using our product?
3/ And finally,can we achieve all of these being a #merika project (company)?

1️⃣ Let's elaborate!

Normies should be our audience (customer) Finding a niche where we can have the advantage by moving first, it can win your customers! Finding this niche it should be priority no1⃣
4/ The user experience is the most important aspect on every single field! Don't be stingy and use all the resources available if you want to succeed! The customer it needs to feel confident using your product. Offering a smoothly experience, by putting more effort on designing
5/ an attractive 'staking dashboard' for example, or a native wallet compatible on every device possible, with connectivity available for possible dapps developed... It can make your customers to feel satisfied and less anger for scrolling tons of dates in tens of places.
6/ 2️⃣ Know your customers:

Customers: the majority of our users are located in X... Focus on what's missing to that market! Weekly/Monthly community surveys about projects, users experience, dapps, feedbacks, problems for identifying your community or possible customers needs!
7/ Take care first of your current customers and after that you can look for other markets! Ignoring your current users (customers) by looking to invade another market... is a bad approach, the success is not always granted and you're risking by ignorance and to much focus on
8/ a different market to lose a decent number of current customers!

Let's take for example a roadmap where you encounter unknown barriers, delays, market changed... Crypto is evolving fast, what's unknown in January, in September is already a blown bubble where you don't
9/ participate because of researching another market and consuming consistent resources! The time is the most precious asset ever!

3️⃣ Product (project awareness):

Here we have a few problems and Harmony struggled from the beginning, especially this year!
10/ The tech is here, demos and dapps are present.. but we are very poor in making known our tech. Having only a strong team of engineers is not enough. Having a PhD in security protocol it doesn't makes you a successful business man in blockchain and especially in marketing,
11/ I think everyone knows about who I am talking! We have a graduate of Harvard Business School in team and still 🤷... I mean, business cards of the members of this project and their background experience, would never say that something can not be achieved by them, and yet,
12/ Harmony has many shortcomings and lacunas 😳.

Coming with excuses like "muh #merika" we can't have marketing, we can't do that and that explanations is beyond my comprehension and it makes me and others wonder:
13/ Why did you started this project without proper research in a country as #merika where regulations and everything related to crypto is a pain in the butt 🤷🤔...

How do you want to raise awareness about your product without marketing?
14/ Why develop further (producing) if we can't sell?

To many questions 🤔

4️⃣ Development/Priorities:

Example: Swoop.exchange DEMO !!!

Why choosing to spend so much time and resources on a such demo dapp as Swoop, when you could've advertising a grant especially
15/ for this task, offering an attractive prize for engaging as many as possible devs, showcasing the benefits of your amazing network and why they should built on Harmony, and on top introduce a governance token to encourage as many as possible users (customers)
16/ bcoz defi and governance it was a must have in 2020 🤷.. In my opinion, time, resources and a win/win situation was wasted. It's easier to see what adoption as a demo dapp Swoop it had 🥴

Again, the tech is here, every project has a portfolio, and showcasing what your
17/ network can do, it can be done without spending so many resources and especially so much time!

#2secfinality: Idk exactly how many devs except RJ worked for this improvement... Idk exactly if it wouldn't been a higher priority #Resharding, so you can achieve
18/ finally decentralization.. Idk if any bridge or dapp really was depending on this update or if after #Resharding it wouldn't been possible. But, knowing what's the trick with the #2secfinality achieved, I think this update it could have been pushed later. I used all the
19/ available dapps on Harmony, the difference for normies between #5sec or #2sec is insensible and I strongly believe every dev can work and drop their contracts easily and damn cheaper 😜.
20/ 5️⃣ Productivity/Grants:

Again some issues with feedback delivered daily/weekly/monthly by the community and customers, stakers, delegators 🥺.

N's of wallets integrated, and NOT a single native wallet compatible with customers PHONES in this age of accessible technology
21/ almost all over. I am not talking about Frontier wallet for staking, Math or Guarda. I am talking about a native MOBILE wallet, in house developed or by a grantee, and to be compatible with present/future dapps!
22/ #2y and we don't have a proper explorer. The users, and even the developers are blurred as hell seeing that explorer! Another important "thing" ignored or not prioritized! Your infrastructure for end users, normies, customers is very important and it should been a priority
23/ from day 1! It's missing and it was discussed ten's of times!

Staking dashboard updated: Info, metrics add, fixes applied for end nodes!

Wallet/s MOBILE compatible with current/future dapps!

A damn good explorer🤨(we don't have CZ's $, but dayum what explorer #BSC has)
24/ Let's spend those funds wisely from now on ! Those funds, are investors and community's investments !!!

6️⃣ Customer/Community Trust:

The beauty of blockchain is and it will always be "transparency".
25/ Again, you should balance well your words and explanations shared to the wide world! Putting muh #merika always in the middle, encouraging decentralization always, proclaiming you're transparency...
26/ You can NEVER share such explanations as "administrative overhead" when the community asks as simple as that why did you sent you're tokens to a #CEX 🤔. What trust should the community have anymore after recently events and after seeing that the CORE Foundation
27/ is encouraging a #CEX instead of their developed native wallet or any of those COLD wallets available at the moment, some of them even being our partners as SAFEPAL.io for example 🤨.
28/ #2y NOT a single report has been shared so far publicly for the community! NOT a single spreadsheet shared with the community for upcoming spending's for future developments! Nothing in 2y is not the right answer. Nothing, it doesn't inspire confidence in me to become your
29/ customer or to continue to be. Trust, once lost, is difficult or impossible to regain and instead of recommending the project further, the customer will never spread awareness about you project!

30/ 7️⃣ Marketing/Partnerships:

It is not a shame to be a CEO and not have very good knowledge about communicating with the crypto community. It's not a crime to be a CEO and not be a good negotiator looking for partnerships. No one will ever blame you for anything as long
31/ as you don't have the necessary skills and it's not like you don't do your job. And that's why we have professional marketing firms and skillful negotiators!

We have the #tech, and is cheaper and faster AF... We just need skills to attract projects to use this network.
32/ Investors to implement this network and the demand for $ONE tokens to be increased! I don't think is illegally even for a muh #merika project, hiring a professional team or good negotiators to find partnerships and projects which might be interested about your #tech but
33/ they never heard or knew about you because of lack of marketing and skills 🥺. The pandemic hit all of us, but in this age of technology I really don't see such a huge communication issue, in presenting and introducing our tech to as many as possible.
34/ Nobody said or says that the grants and hackrathons are not good! But, you need good prizes to attract interesting and most important useful dapps. Most of these start-ups don't have a decent number of users and they are trying to grow up on your back.
35/ A simple example is Jelly Swap which has a hand of users and idk how many used or even remember that in these crazy defi days. In my opinion, starting from scratch and experimenting with start-ups, I think is like we're trying to find the golden goose (revolutionary dapp)
36/ with these cheap hakrathons and grants we had so far 🥴. The craziness is in defi, and most of those good devs are building their projects, they don't care anymore about our 3k, 15k, 25k.. Because they're making banks until this defi bubble blows 💥.
37/ That's why I strongly believe we (Harmony) should focus more on existing defi projects and existing useful dapps to be ported and run on Harmony instead of testing endlessly the waters with hakrathons! #Harmony it doesn't mean only a cheap network with #2secfinality
38/ 8️⃣ Valuation/Price

Most of you don't care, don't admit or maybe (definitely) legal reasons are in the middle. But, the price and valuation of your token in crypto is damn important. Being a top 50/100 at least it means a lot of visibility.
39/ It means a decent business card for your project. It means awareness and eyes on you from this entire space and other projects. It means you are doing the things right, investors are confident and of course the devs are going to look at you then, they become interested and
40/ attracted by your valuation and $$ rolling. The PRICE it's an endless river of benefits in this crazy space! As faster as possible you're aware about this, as faster you become a successful project!

Yeah yeah I know, muh #merika 🤢!
41/ But hey, nobody tells you to give financial advices on twitter, you don't encourage anyone publicly buying your tokens. You raise awareness about your project by doing a good job in accomplishing partnerships, by engaging in discussions with big boys from this space,
42/ by having articles about your project and tech in the most important crypto publications, youtubers which are discussing about your tech and endless things you can do way better than so far!
43/ I don't want to bring anymore in discussion how some smart guys knew how to marketer their project, their network and they attracted a few partners and projects since they were a testnet! No muh #merika some said.. But examples are many everywhere😏
44/ IF, sending those funds to a #CEX as Binance, it doesn't matter IEo, "Agreements" or X reasons and being a muh #merika company (project),
45/ I am sure and confident that legally procedures for marketing and professional engagement can be found if we really want and care about the future of our project 😉.
46/ 9️⃣ Bottom line:

I am a customer, community member, an investor and a degen who joined Harmony in May 30th 2019, and since then I was daily around and involved in the community. Anyone in the community knows who I am. Almost every team member knows me.
47/ I have participated in all the tests, discussions and community calls we had for the project. I have shared always all my thoughts and the real feedback read every day in the community to the team. I believed in Harmony, in the team and I wanted to see this project succeed.
48/ Now, after so much time, after countless discussions, messages sent, problems encountered, needs of the community ignored by the team or by some team members, they made me believe that my time so far has been wasted,
49/ I have had countless discussions in vain, because nothing has changed! The team, some members maybe not all, ignored some important issues discussed daily in the community and the trust in the project and the support of some of us was lost.
50/ I always wanted and would have liked to say "look how amazing the #Hamony wallet and dashboard are"... Instead of saying about #Elrond's one or about #Terra-Money😑
51/ "Look how many dapps are running on Harmony" - Cheap, faster but, No adoption, poor marketing, poor awareness 🥴

"Look what explorer and dev tools BSC has" - 🤠 CZ $$$
52/ "Look what awesome report Zilliqa shared" - Yeah (who knows) maybe it shared that one bcoz it 🚀 to #rank33 and #1b in MC... With a poorer tech than ours some are saying 🥴
53/ "Look how committed Harmony's CEO it is, he accomplished a new partnership, X defi project it will run on Harmony" - I am looking and 👏 Beni Mincu again, we are still learning 🥴
54/ I am not the $ONE who sets #Harmony's customer priorities and after reading the entire post you will understand !!!
55/ I wish I could have said many good things about #Harmony, unfortunately ignorance costs!

I WAS THE CUSTOMER !!! And #Harmony should have been a little more than a #cheap #2secfinality network!
