These people need to be verbally eviscerated for attempting to exempt themselves from COVid orders.

They should be fined and lose their jobs. It’s irrelevant which party they belong to. People are dying and leaders have the extra responsibility to lead by example.

It’s fricking ridiculous that seniors and people with comorbidities are dying in droves and these people have some sense of entitlement that they deserve a vacation?

Everyone else has to isolate at home while these politicians and pundits jet set somewhere warm to relax?!?😡

There is absolutely zero room to claim ignorance. It’s irrelevant if this was planned months ago. THE GLOBE IS EXPERIENCING A DEADLY A PANDEMIC!!! Since mid March 2020. Every human alive that can form a cogent thought is aware of the dangers and knows travel enables transmission.

Society is experiencing several rogue libertarians refusing to comply with public health orders. This puts everybody else at risk, but especially the frontline workers and essential services workers.

Politicians & the wealthy DO NOT have special freedoms to spread disease.

Public health orders apply to every person and citizen. But especially to politicians and the support staff who are responsible for implementing public health policies and legislation.

They not only should know better, it’s expected for them to role model the behaviour desired.

There are already 14,597 dead Canadians because people continue to spread the virus.

Teachers, nurses, physicians, grocery workers, trash collectors, water safety technicians, utility managers, police, first responders, transporters of goods and hospital workers.

How many of those people deserve to die because Hawaii beckoned? Or Bahamas? Or London, UK or family in far off locales?

How the hell are confused members of the public supposed to abide by public health orders when politicians and their staff don’t feel the need?

First, you want to return to Canada from your exotic vacation? Pay for it yourself.

Second, travellers are required to isolate for 14 days upon return. Do it in a monitored facility. We don’t need any more mistakes since the new virus variant is widespread across the globe.

You don’t get a free pass to potentially kill essential workers or anyone else for that matter, because of your egotistical, hedonistic, utterly hubristic desire to relax, visit family, go to a meeting.

And as for that job you currently have, please hand in your resignation. You’ve demonstrated abundantly with your disregard for the public’s health, that you neither have the intellectual constitution to cut it or respect for the public to hold such an important position.
