Lot's of possible options (TSB <10%) to consider for the blank GW18 despite it featuring only 12 teams.

Standout fixtures to target:

💠 #MUFC Is it time to jump on Martial?
Currently positioned at ~5% ownership, Martial produced 6 goal involvements in the last 5GWs after posting 1 in 6 previously. Despite being afforded a lot of chances (5) in the last 5, Martial has only 2 goals to show. However he...

...is first for creative stats for FWDs (4 assists, 9 attempted) in that period. On current form, one would look at Martial's assists as his primary outputs and goal only as a bonus. In 4 games v BUR previously, Martial has 3⚽️ 1🅰️.

💠 #MUFC Other MUN assets to jump on?
Luke Shaw (1.1%, £4.8M) is on corners and is joint 4th overall for Big Chances Created, 6th for Attempted Assists. MUN have only kept 1 CS in the last 5 though, so you probably wouldn't consider a MUN defender for their potential CS.

💠 #AFC Is it time to load up on Arsenal assets?
Turn of the year seems to signal a turn of fortunes for the Gunners and this has seen the re-emergence of Bukayo Saka (6.8%, £5.2M) as a possible FPL gem. Yes, he still feels like a trap, but at that price point maybe it's worth...

...a punt? 31 points in 5 (2⚽️, 2🅰️) is just a point less than Marcus Rashford and highest for assets under £5.5M. CRY has conceded 12 goals in the last 5 including 7 v LIV, while ARS have scored 10.

I wouldn't jump on ARS defenders just yet, and I personally wouldn't double up with ARS assets for BGW18. But if you're considering - Kieran Tierney (£5.3M) ⭐⭐⭐ has definitely put his name in the hat, together with MID Emile Smith Rowe (£4.4M) ⭐⭐ who has started the last 2.

💠 #AVFC Villa will bounce back
Jack Grealish has lost the love of possibly some of his FPL advocates, who have had their heads turned by El-Ghazi (4.1%, £5.8M). Having scored 5 in 5 prior to GW17, remains the 2nd highest point earner in the last 5. Also leads for....

...TSoG (26) and SoT (15) for that period.

A more low-key option is Bertrand Traore (0.5%, £5.9M). Started the last 6, posting 3⚽️, 1🅰️. His 13 Shot and 5 SoT are the 6th and 5th highest among MIDs.

Given that they are playing TOT, the only defensive AVL asset I would consider for a differential is Matt Targett (4.8%, £4.6M) who is much more involved offensively that his defensive counterpart Cash. Has attempted more successful final 3rd passes among AVL defenders.

💠 #EFC Sigurdsson back in contention?
The Icelandic international has been silently grinding out the points with less fanfare in the last 5, accumulating 2⚽️, 1🅰️ = 35 points. In the last 6GWs, he attempted 14 assists, joint 4th and those ahead of him have played more...

...Sigurdsson is also the main penalty kick and set piece taker for Everton, so that is another onus to consider him.

Ruben Dias (7.8%, £5.8M) is possibly the only nailed MCI defender at the moment, and should offer a good value option for a clean sheet. Hasn't scored or provided any assists but is among the likelier...

...to get a return. He has taken 7 SoG for MCI (, the highest among MCI's CBs.

NEW pair Federico Fernandez (1%, £4.7M) and Ciaran Clark (0.3%, £4.5M) will face a SHU side who have only scored 3 in their last 6. Indeed the Blades only have 8 goals this season....

...so why not a punt on either one of Fernandez or Clark? Clark has already registered a goal to his name this season.
