While I'm watching the results from Georgia roll in, I'm doing prep for live tweeting tomorrow. I have found some amazing videos that I will share, but here is a little taste!

(I will start live tweeting at 11 CST tomorrow, Join the discussion!!!)

c-span.org/video/?c493342…
You know what other theories are "untested?"

That the earth is flat, that the Loch Ness monster is real, that Al Gore could've declared himself supreme leader.

Do you think Republicans are being triggered by all these vote spikes in the Georgia election?
Yeah, I think this is over for the Republicans.
Tomorrow will be a boring day, and that's exciting!

There is one thing that never fails to be true: Libertarian candidates are NEVER boring

They are all talk and bluster, no chance anything that is remotely threatening to Congress happens.
On a human level, this is really freaking cool.

lol, I can't help but show this video that I found for tomorrow. Imagine eating this electoral envelope! It's like 3 feet wide!

If you look at American's approval of immigration, it hasn't been this good since pre-911.

I hope the reaction to Trump will motivate us to repudiate his policies and move us back on the right track.
Oh dear, someone is having a night...

I hope this makes people realize that he is willing to lie about anything.

Well Victoria.

You win the internet tonight!

Alright, everyone predict what he will tweet next!

GO!
My prediction is something about the Governor or SoS of Georgia, he will throw them under the bus for this...
Don't you mean "how womany votes they need?"
Damn.

Has to be a first. Trump stirred up a shit storm!

I told my dad a few months ago that if Trump kept up with his election fraud claims, he would lose the Senate.

Even then I didn't expect how crazy he would end up becoming

lol. Remember, these are ballots that have already been certified in the presence of observers, and the count can easily be verified by a recount.

This might be what Trump tweets about next

Too far?
In just that one county, and I just calculated that there are only about 18k votes left there.
Yep, this is the big dump we are all straining to get out!

(worst case scenario for Dems is a 75/25 split, which means an 85k gain for dems)

So, when are we going to hear the "Republicans losing the election is all part of the plan for Trump to lock them all up at the same time?" theory
Trumpers are realizing that we need to reform the police.
Dear Lord,

Please let this be the death of Trumpism. That's all I wanted out of this election.
I've asked what will happen to the GOP after Trump a thousand times. And I still have no idea.

I hope they get away from just being the "not-Democrats", they need to actually find what they stand for. I have a feeling that will take years.

If the GOP gets back to the message that won G W Bush two terms: "compasionate conservatism", they will have a chance.
I want to argue with this and say that there will be many in the GOP who won't go along with this.

I can only hope you are wrong.
This is true, but I was referring to the message that won elections.

Trump won because he ran against the only candidate he could beat. I seriously doubt another Republican will be that lucky

And this is the billion dollar question!

I think/hope that with him out of office the media will just begin to ignore him. So he will have to do crazier and crazier things to get noticed. But like I said, I really have zero clue what is going to happen with the GOP.

I take back everything I said that there is any hope for the GOP for the next decade. The party is dead.

My last tweet was defeatist. I need to remember that almost all of my Trump supporting friends in real life were very put off with his post-election behavior.

No one has an excuse to support Trump anymore.

Trumpers are big mad lol
Trump sold people on the fear. The fear that they are losing their country.

If the Democrats want to establish themselves to dominate the next decade, they need to figure out messages and policies that soothe that fear.

My Parents, my in-laws, Will, Adam, Lance, Stewart, Eileen, my neighbors (yes, the same neighbors who brought my kids stockings!), and probably half a dozen cousins.
Trump increased spending by 25% before Covid, and federal employees by 20%.

Oh, and he didn't stop a single abortion.
Democrats need to realize they are losing on the economics. I know they want to keep the left side of their base, but they would mop the floor if they shifted more to the middle on taxes.
I'm happy a liar who had no respect for the Constitution lost to someone who doesn't lie as much and actually thinks the Executive branch has limits.

Yes, this was bad messaging. It made people afraid.

Reform the police is something I think all Americans agree on, but they get scared with "defund the police"

Being happy Trump is gone is not being happy for bigger government.

Trump would've made government far bigger than Biden will. And Trump was a threat to our Constitution, he constantly ignored it.

Alright, going to head to bed now

Should be fun to watch the drama tomorrow!

Hi! You've been referred here because you saw the proof that evidence WAS seen by Judges, but still claimed that they "weren't dismissed on merit".

Here is what the Judge's said about the "merit" of those cases! Hint: it isn't pretty.

🧵THREAD🧵1/
If you haven't already read the original thread, start with that one which proves EVIDENCE was heard

The new thread will show that the Judges also had opinions on the "merits" of the case. The cases will be in the same order.

2/

Bowyer v. Ducey (Sidney Powell's case in Arizona)

Plaintiff "must show they are likely to succeed on the merits"

"Plaintiffs simply cannot establish they have a likelihood of success on their claims

Jenna is out here literally making things up in the Constitution. The Constitution has never been interpreted as allowing the VP to do anything but open envelopes.

Until they needed the Constitution to say something it doesnt.
So I'm thinking about the reply to Jenna's next tweet, should it be:

Hey Jenna,

I'm still waiting

And I'm still waiting

And I'm still waiting.

So, I think I'm going to sum up my thoughts on the #TrumpTapes in a quick thread. I'm not going to go into their legality, I think other people will cover that better than I can.

Thoughts on the Trump tapes

🧵THREAD🧵
I think this is a good thing, Trump is showing himself as he is.

It's painful to watch, it feels like our Democracy is on a knife's edge.

But our Constitution is strong, it's weathered tougher storms than Trump's tantrums.

2/
I know that many family members and friends who have supported him in the past are seeing what he is. Many of them have told me that they cannot stand his post election behavior, and that was before these tapes.

Forgot to link it: washingtonpost.com/video/politics…

It starts with introductions
Trump starts out by saying his rally sizes prove he won.

And he is saying that there are "hundreds of thousands of ballots that weren't counted"

There have been few greater threats to our Constitution than Donald Trump.

This is despicable. This is criminal. This is impeachable.

washingtonpost.com/politics/trump…
Sorry, your man DJT got caught trying to get a state official to commit fraud for him.

Exactly what you've been pretending the Democrats did.

Figured I would do a thread on my top ten favorite reads of 2020!

It would be interesting to see who else has read these. So in no particular order:
The Boys in the Boat
By Daniel James Brown

Really incredible story that takes you back to the pre war era of the 1930s
Into the Fire
By Greg Hurwitz

It's Jason Bourne + James Bond, except better than either! I'm not a big Spy Thriller fan, but the Orphan X series is a a lot of fun
