Signs of a major political Twitter purge ongoing:

By my count I've lost over 2% of followers in past few days, most of it in last 12 or so hours
Lost a few more followers in ongoing #TwitterPurge
Now at a 2.3% loss in past days.

It appears this major Trump-supporter Twitter presence was hit with a nearly 3.0% follower loss today:

All links to #Bitchute are now being flagged as Dangerous/Unsafe, probably dissuading 90% of casual link-clickers.
Others seem to have had follower-losses in the 0.7%--1.0% range. @SelimSeesYou (now always on private-mode) is one who has lost in this range; and spanning the spectrum to U.S. House member and Trump-suppoter @RepThomasMassie:

One wonders what the #TwitterPurge internal mechanics look like.

Is there a single Hit List?

Are they doing random, "fear of God" bannings in addition to surgical strikes against core Trump-aligned accounts?
A lot of small-timer Trump-supporter/Trump-loyalist accounts are reporting follower losses in the 2.5% range so far:

Some smaller pro-Trump accounts are reporting bigger %-terms losses. Here is one reporting apparently a nearly 6% loss in 48 hours:

Mainstream Fox News'er and Trump-supporter Tammy Bruce hit with reported 1.5% follower-loss in the 10pm EST hour of Jan. 8 *alone*:

Pollster Rasmussen reports a net-loss of ca. 1.5% in the middle of the Twitter Purge by 7:30pm EST Jan. 8, presumably many more by now as the wave of bans continues:

Pro-Trump journalist Byron York has been hit with an incredible 4.5%+ follower-loss in the Twitter Purge / Coordinated Suppression of the Anti-Fraud Protests:

Pro-Trump celebrity and political commentator James Woods hit with a 3.0%+ follower-loss amid ongoing wave of political bannings:

Pro-Trump radio host and commentator Buck Sexton hit with 6.5% follower loss amid wave of political bannings:

More steady losses

I have now lost 4.0% of my pre-#TwitterPurgeJan2021 followers, and gained about 0.6% new followers in the same period, net loss of 3.4% so far.
Longtime Trump-backer Scott Adams reports an impressive (?) SIX percent (6%) follower loss in the Purge.

Scaled up, to the entirety of "Trump-Leaning Twitter," this probably means political bannings in the hundreds of thousands may have already occurred.

Even accounts in Europe are hit by the wave of political bans. One reporting a 6% sudden follower loss:

If you see the replies, most of these are Germans who have lost followers have lost in the 0.5% range.

I conclude the wave of bannings is mainly hitting US pro-Trump accounts. DerBerliner (6% loss) must have had unusually large number of US followers.

This conservative German economist is reporting a 0.25% follower loss:

The man who wrote a book called "The Election Heist," Ken Timmerman, remains unbanned himself but is reporting a huge 13% follower loss:

Fox News figure Kat Timpf hit with a sharp 5.5%--6.0% follower loss in the #TwitterPurge targeting suspected pro-Trump accounts of January 2021:

In an update above, 13 hours ago, James Woods was at a 3% follower loss. It's now past 6%.

(So the banning seem to be occurring steadily, with more lost every hour. Implying some kind of human-review process of flagged accounts, not a light-switch.)

Glenn Greenwald uses a few major pro-Trump accounts (Tucker Carlson, Federalist, Molly Hemingway, Daily Caller) to show the wave of bannings is widespread, starts Jan. 7, and is seemingly increasing as of Jan. 9 -- a major political purge:

By my count I've now lost -5.7% of my pre-Purge followers and gained +1.0% in same period. Net loss -4.7%.

11 hrs ago update: 4.0% existing follower loss / +0.6% new follower gain = -3.4% net loss. The bans roll on.

Update on Max Otte:

Now has lost 0.9% of followers -- this low level of loss suggests it's mainly US accounts getting purged

My follower loss now at about:

- 5.5% lost
+1.0% gained
- 4.5% net lost

A noticeable difference about every 12 hours over the past week, but especially starting afternoon EST Jan. 6. Signs of a deliberate, slow, rolling purge.
(I started paying attention to magnitude of follower-losses when people started talking about it, hence this thread.)

I've been near midpoint among those suspected of Trump support or adjacency. If I'm at 5.5% of original followers lost, the highest are probably now at/near 10%.
In a few cases, I've seen people report follower losses exceeding 10% already by Jan. 9.

As we of the Anti-Panic side told you would happen, deaths in Sweden were below normal for months following the late March to late May flu wave.

The period of sustained below-normal mortality beings July 10 and continues to at least the end of October.
