This offers an approach whereby after Biden inherits office, he signs a law—passed with a simple majority in both houses—declaring Trump’s presidency illegal after Jan. 6 due to the insurrection theconstitutionalist.org/2021/01/11/sec…
Given that it’s almost unimaginable that Trump is actually *removed* before January 20 (esp. with Pence’s letter tonight), this approach may have a few advantages vs. gumming up the Senate with a trial after the 20th. But impeachment/trial still best for accountability, IMHO.
This is a more skeptical view. This is all untested, of course. Important point: “The choice between the impeachment and Section 3 disqualification isn’t either-or” washingtonpost.com/outlook/2021/0…

We saw a version of this play out last year with sub-par PPE deliveries. I’d imagine the basic reaction to Sinovac’s apparent underperformance won’t be charitable—especially for countries that made big bets.
Beginning to think that the -15º C conditions could have resulted in the parade failing to meet standards. Still early and we might yet see edited footage released.
