Pukguksong-5?
New short-range solid fuel missiles.
Two more of the apparent new SLBM.
On second thought, this could be a –3 (Pukguksong-3, which was tested in October 2019). Higher resolution would be good.
Though if it is “-3”, it’s not identical to the tested Pukguksong-3 (note the conical warhead on the parade items).
An early thought on this: KN24 with “observable differences” to indicate a tactical nuclear weapon delivery role vs. the conventional KN23/KN24s? Appears to have a payload separation plane.
A very jolly, leather-clad Kim.

MRL/SRBMs are back. KN25/KN09/KN16.

New SAM is back (Pongae-6?).
KN23 is back.
Suspected new intermediate-range cruise missile is also back.
KN24.
The parade appears to end with this new solid-fuel short-range ballistic missile. It resembles a KN24, but on a KN23-style TEL.

That description suggests a lower-profile affair compared to October 2020, at least in terms of weapon systems that were paraded (as was expected, given what we could see from space).
We shall soon see.

Over-promising and under-deliverying on a Covid-19 vaccine of all things seems to augur poorly for China’s image around the world wsj.com/articles/china…
We saw a version of this play out last year with sub-par PPE deliveries. I’d imagine the basic reaction to Sinovac’s apparent underperformance won’t be charitable—especially for countries that made big bets.

There’s confirmation of a parade, at least.
Still no footage/pictures.
Beginning to think that the -15º C conditions could have resulted in the parade failing to meet standards. Still early and we might yet see edited footage released.
