‼️ Vaccination rollout update‼️
1/4🏥Woodside pharmacy in our borough becomes 1st pharmacy in the Midlands to deliver #COVID19Vaccine -as part of NHS nationally accelerating the #vaccine delivery at High Street pharmacies ➡️orlo.uk/zq399

2/4📃 Residents eligible for the vaccination (in line with national priority group criteria) are being sent an invitation letter to make a booking through national booking service.
✅ When booking, they will be given a choice between a Vaccination Centre or a pharmacy service.

3/4 ❗️Anyone who does not want to or cannot travel to one of the sites offered through the national booking service can also wait to receive a vaccination appointment from their local GP or hospital service.

4/4 💉More local vaccine services provided by GPs and pharmacists, in people’s homes for those who are housebound & a new dedicated large vaccination centre are due to be rollout across #Telford and Wrekin, to make sure that everyone who needs a vaccine is able to get one.

‼️ Covid-19 cases have nearly trebled in Telford and Wrekin in the past week.

‼️ Our local cases have increased dramatically - we have had 802 people diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last week
‼️ We all need to stay at home stay at home and follow the ‘lockdown’ rules to protect the NHS at this critical time.

We need to act like everyone has the virus, act like you have the virus yourself – 1 in 3 people with Covid-19 show no symptoms.

Wash hands, wear a face covering, and socially distance 100% of the time.

Vaccination rollout update❗️
1/4 The Govt.#Covid19 vaccination programme is underway in #Telford & Wrekin but is not happening as quickly as we’d hope to.
The Council & @CllrShaunDavies continue to offer the NHS & Govt. full support to make this happen ▶️ orlo.uk/kGfxO

2/4 💉The COVID-19 vaccine is currently offered to borough residents aged 80 and above, care home residents as well as NHS and care home workers.

✅ Two primary care networks across Telford & Wrekin are now providing the vaccination at centres
