I have a Brother MFC-J4510DW mid range multi function printer, and it feels like it's been on its last legs more or less since I bought it...

I'd have a go at repairing it, but even iFixit has no guides for any similar model... and I am not sure even what it is that's wrong
I'd basically like - as a printer - what an Apple computer is for computers
I'd pay more for it, providing I could count on it working flawlessly for a good few years

I suppose it ought to be an inkjet printer - I print a load of travel tickets, some business connected letters and invoices, and some photos... but beyond that? I'm open to suggestions
I've owned EPSON, Brother and Canon printers in the past. All of them have been of mixed quality... HP is about the only major brand I have not owned
I'd welcome your suggestions - if you have something that works well for you, please let me know - and *why* it works well, and how long it has worked well!
