Eastern Oregon Correctional Facility (EOCI) / November 22, 2020.
"The unit I was on got hit hard, thirty-five out of eighty-two AIC (Adults In Custody) got sick. I was so scared that I would get the COVID-19 because I knew if I got it it would likely kill me. I have poor immune system caused by thyroid issues..."
"A lot of AIC's were scared of saying anything if they thought they had symptoms of COVID-19. Why did they do this for? Here at EOCI they started sending AIC's to other institutions around the state.”
“They were afraid to go for reasons like: Different environment, losing their housing or afraid they may not come back here."
"A lot of AIC's said something to those staff members, why they weren't wearing masks or the right ones. Their answer was, get this: They don't live here so it doesn't apply to them.”
“Now, if we get caught not wearing them when we leave our bunk area we get punished with a cell-in. And we also get into trouble if we say anything to them about them not wearing their mask."
"I am also sending in a tag off of one of the face masks we use. Look at what it says. Thanks for taking the time to read this."

Snake River Correctional Institution (SRCI) / October 26th, 2020.
"My wish is to hold ODOC accountable in any legal way. Changes MUST be made soon to prevent this from happening to anyone...”

"Coffee Creek told OSP that they were sending a busload of Covid positive people over, which wasn’t the truth. All of us that were there on the bus had been in Coffee Creek intake for over 30 days or more...”
We started to make a big fuss about being held there so long. Instead of fixing that themselves, Coffee Creek didn’t want to deal with us anymore and sent us away."
