#norovirus: Vomiting predominates seen in >50%. Incubation period 24-48 hrs and illness lasts 12060 hrs. Confirm by stool PCR
DDx: not shigatoxin Ecoli STEC/enterohemorrhagic EColi which is more severe. More hospitalization and HUS would have been seen in this outbreak. Vomiting not predminant & high percentage have bloody stool with O157:H7
DDx: Campylobacter: diarrhea and dysentry should have been reported in many and vomiting not predominate as finding and illness lasts longer
DDx: not enterotoxigenic Ecoli as that causes typically watery diarrhea but no prominent nausea and vomiting
DDx: incubation period too long for staph aureus: generally staph aureus IC 2-7 hrs
