Pelletier doesn't say that only SOME of the descendants of the Manitoba Métis have assimilated. He says: that the "descendants [of the Manitoba Métis] have assimilated"! - remember who published this! 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 1974.

So what they're saying that happed in the East, i.e. the metis assimilated in the French, English, and Indian societies also happed (in exactly the same way) in the West!! per 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 1974.

It really is scandalous though, the amount of money and resources, spent hiring the likes of Leroux and the rest of the groupies to discredit the East, spending millions of dollars of publicly funded money to hire so called "professionals" 🙄

to collaborate with First Nation groups in Eastern Canada with their stupid MOU's and multiple media outlets to try and discredit us. Using social media and their "AI social media" campaign to caste us as the opportunists, raceshifters, pretendians, fetis , etc etc

when this book, which was published by 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 1974, before they decided they were the only 'Metis' and changed to their 2002 definition. The History of the Manitoba Metis Federation- Tony Lussier writing in 1978 states:

So as you can so very clearly see, there is no distinct line in the sand between the eastern and western Metis, except the one that Chartier and Chartrand try their best to draw, they have millions in funding, their own publishing companies, and the motive to do so.

gave me the tools and knowledge to understand these things as a Metis person. (Enquiring minds want to know what you did call it Adam, LOL) because whatever it is, you are now a Metis expert, 🤣 .. chaa ching .. lol 🤑💲💰
