I’ve seen too many people say recently Eric Striker is just a leftist who later joined the alt-right.
So I just thought I’d remind you of where all this Nazi laundering (la ‘it’s about free speech, not hate’) comes from.
Tom Metzger.
If your “biggest ideological influence” in life is 80s/90s Tom Metzger...you most definitely are a Nazi.
Especially if he was your pen pal during your teenage years.
Where the hell do you guys think the whole “alt-right” mainstreaming thing began?
Good God.
If people want to confront the white supremacy threat, it takes a slightly longer memory than Richard Spencer and the alt-right.
Contemporary neo-Nazi mainstreaming and infiltration has been going on in organized form since the 1970s.
The Trump era was just the iceberg’s tip.
Unpopular opinion (not that I care) but:
Getting the public to recognize the historical scope of neo-Nazi mainstreaming and infiltration here...
... should be a far bigger priority than playing Nazi telegram whack-a-mole.
By a whooooole lot.
Neo-Nazi infiltration and mainstreaming have been going on for so long that, well... I hate to break it to you, but the ones you need to be really afraid of?
They’re not on Telegram. They don’t need to be.
Anyway, back to work for me. I’ll read your angry @‘s later.
Last thing before I hop off:
Please stop asking me how to dox people. I don’t do that, in no small part because I don’t think I’d be any good at it.
Irresponsible, inaccurate doxes are way too common, and they hurt innocent people.
So ask someone else, not me.
Now, bye.

We could all use some hope at the moment, so I wanted to share a (very unexpected) message I just received.
People can change.
And we can’t afford to forget that, especially right now.
That particular kill list cost me nearly everything, quite literally.
I’m a lot angrier at the non-Nazis who punished me for risking my life than I am at the Nazis that made it.
And I’m thankful to the person who wrote this apology, and immensely thankful they got out.
I’m actually a bit emotional now, given what that kill list did to my life, so I’m going to log off.
But:
I’m so grateful for the desperately needed reminder that what we do is worth the personal toll and high cost. Someone broke free - and that’s the best gift I could get.
Never trust a neo-Nazi claiming overnight ‘reformed’ while facing legal charges, especially those who use that claim for sweet, sweet ‘deradicalization’ money.
Another tell:
True ‘formers’ don’t expect you to believe or accept them, and don’t seek rewards for doing the work.
