Ok folks, as Tempus never endingly fugits, time for the results of the #DrawTheInauguration Challenge. This was run in partnership with @Cartoonmuseumuk, and you can see all the entries here ...

...and it was different from all previous #Draw Challenges inasmuch as @Cartoonmuseumuk used the Challenge as part of its educational outreach programme, encouraging homeschooled kids to have a go, working on this downloadable template. Cute, huh?

So, this once, there are TWO categories of winners - one from the usual rabble of asocial scribblers - ie YOU - and one from the kids. The "adult" will get a copy of @AndrewGimson's #GimsonsPresidents, signed by me, & the kid'll get that PLUS a shedload of Cartoon Museum goodies

Also, for only the second time since #DrawSerco etc, we have an external judge as opposed to all the screaming voices in my head, in the form of @Cartoonmuseumuk's director @JoeSullivan19. What follows, then, are a few I particular liked, plus his Top Toons with the winner...

...followed by the top 3 kids. Still with me? So, let's start off by embracing The Crafts, like what we gotta do now we're bored with baking, & here's the entry from the splendid @REmbroiderer + a nice bit of Archimboldoist objet trouvism from @DjbSackett

Also, we always welcome photography, collage and, indeed, fine art to these little Challenges, so delighted to big up these entries from @Brandy_Snap & @KazSteeleActor

...while, of course, there will always be room here for meanminded and vulturehearted agism, going both ways - here's these from @easycartoons and @Andrew82239566

...nor can it ever be said we exhibit even a stale whiff of virusism - hence this from @BackwardNut - or abjure excellent obvious sight gags - like this from regular @SDupp

And I don't know about you, but I'm always a complete sucker for a theological Manichean trope, as displayed in this admirable entry from former winner @JaseToons

I also liked this from the estimable (and local) @ThisIsBilly_B, while @iancartoons has touched my heart with its brilliant insight into the home life of the cartoonist, & @MrGSimpson has conjured something subtly brilliant with his entry

And these are the one's that @Cartoonmuseumuk director @JoeSullivan19 went for. A special mention for @roy_stonebridge's sad portrait of sad "Boris"...

And the winner of the #DrawTheInauguration Challenge (adults section) 2021, on the authenticated votes of @JoeSullivan19 is...........................................@Telecoda!!! A worthy winner, and a great gag! Well done!

In in the kids' section, I'm giving a special mention to @Cartoonmuseumuk blogger @TinctureOfMuse's son's spaghetti & lentils food mosaic trump - as @BurtOHare will attest, these Challenges love Food Art! Also a big up to @Huge_action's daughter's Bananahaired "Boris" btw!

But in third place................................regular entrant @k8tielou78's 8 year old daughter Ciara!!!

In second place.....................@JemmaStreet's daughter - for whom right now I don't have a name, though I think this is wonderful though worrying talented for us old timers

And the Wionner of the Kids' Section of the Great #DrawTheInauguration, on the undisputed votes of @Cartoonmuseumuk director @JoeSullivan19, is this, from @megpickard's 8 year old - called Meg? The video installation will be retweeted immediately after this! Well done!

And I'm going to add a special mention for @megpickard's unnamed 5 year old too. Cracking stuff - well done 5 year old Pickard 2!
