One day, Comdt of the Marine Corps was visiting Miramar for insp. He arr in a limo, Marine Flag offr’s flag flying on the hood, driven by a Marine Capt. As the car apch gate, Dvr was expecting to be waved thru but Guard stepped out in front of the car & indicated to stop.

The Capt shouted at the guard. The guard calmly asked for his ID & that of the passenger. The Capt again shouted, “Do you know who this is? Thats the Comdt of Marine Corps”.
The guard peeks in, sees & salutes the Comdt & says
“Sorry sir, I have my orders gotta see all your ID”.
