A total of 73 countries have reported cases of B.1.1.7 (55 of which have sequences on GISAID).
In total, B.1.1.7 was assigned to 37,874 sequences on GISAID from 55 countries. There are now B.1.1.7 sequences from Kuwait and Bangladesh on GISAID. Our access to records has a slight lag, and there are actually 3 B.1.1.7 sequences from Bangladesh as of today @senjutisaha
31 countries have reported cases of lineage B.1.351 (23 represented by sequences on GISAID).
B.1.351 was assigned by pangolin to 750 sequences. 519 of those sequences are from South Africa.
There are confirmed reports of lineage P.1 from a total of 9 countries, 6 of those represented by sequences on GISAID.
A total of 40 P.1 sequences are on GISAID: Brazil 30, Japan 4, Italy 3, Faroe_Islands 1, USA 1, South_Korea 1
