On the eve of #RamMandirAyodhya Bhumi Pujan, I am sharing a few immortal Carnatic classical compositions on Sri Rama.

Please share your favourite songs on Prabhu Sri Ramachandra.

First one is Marugelara O Raghava by Maharajapuram Santhanam.

The second song is Raghuvamsa Sudha in Kadanakutuhala Raga.

It was composed by Patnam Subramania Iyer and sounds divine in Maharajapuram Santhanam’s voice.

Nagumomu Ganaleni - another gem of Tyagaraja. This version is my favourite.

I know I am an unabashed Maharajapuram fan. But what to do, he is so awesome!

Even the MS one is great.

As a Kannadiga who is proud of my mother tongue, its beauty, history & contribution to Bharat's rich culture, I feel a few aspects of the National Education Policy 2019 Draft have been twisted, misinterpreted & misunderstood to say govt is trying to impose Hindi. (1/n)
The 3-language formula, as is stated in the draft NEP, has been in place since 1968 and has been endorsed in 1986 and 1992 updates of the NEP as well.
The current draft of the NEP merely says that this 3-language formula can be continued in schools. (2/n)

The serial draconian arrests of nationalists in Karnataka is a cause of grave concern. The arrests are made by flouting all legalities and is clear abuse of process.

It is unabashed fascism on display by the HDK-MBP-Siddu trio. We shall fight back.

The arrests are a clear violation of rules laid down by the Hon'ble SC in Arnesh Kumar, DK Basu judgments and various circulars issued by the police department on arrests of persons

Our team is approaching HC on Tuesday before vacation bench to set aside this abuse of process
Times of just tweeting condemnation is over. We will stand shoulder to shoulder with all those who are wrongly prosecuted & ensure they get justice

Let me also tell Con-JDS govt that we will file cases of malicious prosecution against the instigators & teach you all lessons.
