If the #UK is still around in a 100 years time and is not a toxic hellhole where our descendants are troglodyte serfs, living in fear of their neoliberal PatriotTory or BluLabour dark Lords, I ponder how historians will view this era and its regard for celebrities. 1

Here is a TV personality, without any evidence accusing a journalist of being an antisemite. Mr Bastani is apparently going to consult his lawyers for guidance, but this is not the first time the lady has done this. She gets away with this because she is a celebrity 2

And here is a film actor his target though being @jeremycorbyn, a one time prime minster candidate who is critical of Israel and its treatment of Palestinians. The actor will get away with this obsessive hateful behaviour because he is a celebrity 3

Why this behaviour and why the free pass from our media ? It is because their targets of abuse are progressives who threaten the longstanding neoliberal regime of this country. 4

Now such celebs are both irrational and hypocritical. Here is Mr Marsan in a 2020 film with Mel Gibson, a famous actor who who has a looonng history of homophobic, racist and antisemitic comments. 5

But they are not alone....here is a comedian who is now being treated by the BBC and the media as a expert on Identity politics, antisemitism and holocaust denial.....

And here is the comedian during the 90s on a prime time BBC show, black facing as a footballer whose dress sense he dislikes....yes the 1990s. Not the 1970s. He did this when football had a anti racism campaign. Yes the 1990s. You did read that right. He did this ... 7
