If there is one thing you need to do today as you scroll away, is read this๐งต. It tells one more story of how the ugly side of humanity shines in this #coronaviurs pandemic.
They say failure is success in the land where lies are truth.
Sweden is not the only country that was cursed with a government that shouldn't be in a pandemic. The list is long, close your eyes and you will still know who they are.
But Sweden's curse was the worst, for too many fell for it all at home and abroad.
Hook, line, and sinker.
And so the world suffered a lot more. A lot longer.
And so the world continues to suffer a lot more. A lot longer.
For a pandemic such as this one affects us all.
And because of greed, malice, arrogant ignorance and more, too many have easily embraced the bad and the ugly.
Too many governments have blatantly or secretly embraced Tegnell & his rotten ilk, and too many people have spread mis/disinformation by using Sweden as the poster child of how a country should act.
They forgot that nowadays, history can not be rewritten forever. Lies don't last
Sweden was the model for The Great Barrington Declaration and their herd immunity by infection delusion gave the world a never ending nightmare full of regrets.
๐งตhow Sweden made sure it got over 160,000 #LongCovid & the worst excess mortality since 1918
๐งตon Sweden, Tegnell & ilk, the not-so-great Great Barrington Declaration, the herd immunity by infection delusion, mutations, the cognitive dissonance too many of us suffer from, etc..
..the callousness that brought only regrets to Sweden and the world.
Reading this is equally disgusting and sad. Reading this boils you inside, because this rottenness, this malice and greed, is what has made it all worse for Sweden and for too many countries in the world.
If there are no consequences for all this callousness, what will be left?
Jonas Ludvigsson, one of the 47 original signers of the Great Barrington Declaration callous delusion and one of Tegnellโs rotten ilk that blatantly lies & gaslights in this #coronavirus pandemic, shows us how:
Thereโs so much we still donโt know about #LongCovid.
How it affects adults and children.
And yet, too many ignore, dismiss, downplay, and do all the other things that should not be done with something unknown that has affected young & not and healthy & not.
"People who are used to betting that discuss medicine. On the stock market it can go well or badly but if it goes badly you lose money. In medicine, if you lose, people die. You can't bet. You can't try. You must always consider the worst case scenario."
I have asked myself since early February 2020 what is it that we are waiting for to finally start abiding by the whole 'err on the side of caution' mentality?
How much worse does it have to get for us to stop postponing and prolonging, to stop regretting and start preventing.
If indeed trueโbut even if itโs 'just' more transmissible & not more deadlyโit looks like that whole Herd Immunity thing was just a really baaad idea. ๐งต
