Also was pleased to see the work of my colleagues at @StCatStandard over the years featured including @BobTym @abenner1 @RobHoule55 Erik White @downs_peter included in the show! 
It is a truism in journalism that the work done, day in and day out by local, daily newspaper journalists is relied on by our broadcast counterparts for their work, often forming part of the spine of their own investigations.
The @cbcfifth team pulled together their own, original materials (including some amazing 911 calls and interrogation footage!) but the work of local journalists who covered the Park case over the years was a big part of that coverage! Just shows again why newspapers matter.
As a side note, not included in the broadcast, but absolutely worth noting, was the work by @DaveJTheTrib who was our man on the ground on the day of the Parker shooting. Dave and I were nominated for an @ONAwards for our coverage.
If you have not seen the @cbcfifth episode tonight, be sure to catch it. They really highlight a critical issue in Ontario about police accountability and how police disciplinary processes fail to hold the worst offenders to account.
