1) #MondayThoughts We have to face facts: the Labour Party leadership has now indisputably been taken over by the Centre-Right #Blairite faction who undermined #Corbyn's leadership & deliberately conspired to lose the 2017 & 2019 General Elections in order to get rid of Jeremy.

2) Yes, this may change in the future but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for it to happen. Added to that the UK Westminster Parliament, so-called "representative democracy"- is hopelessly corrupt and appears impossible to reform.

3) Reform of our current political system "from inside" is impossible because of the profound right-wing bias of the Mainstream Media & determination of the current self-serving privileged elite to cling to power at all costs.

4) Therefore the logic of this is that change in ENGLAND, with its population of 56 million - therefore a fair-sized country in its own right - is only going to come from an Ex-Parliamentary Opposition or #EPO.

5) I should like to propose that we stop agonising on how or whether to include the word "socialist" in the name of our new group. Why not just call ourselves the #EPO - for Extra-Parliamentary-Opposition?

6) The #EPO or Extra-Parliamentary-Opposition includes all socialists, all Greens, & all those who think that England and/or Northern England & the other major English regions MUST have their own fully devolved Parliaments in a federal or confederal system of direct democracy.

7) I hereby propose, on this historic date of 15th February 2021, the formation of #EPO or #ExtraParliamentaryOpposition. Simply #retweet this, start using hashtag #EPO & welcome y'all!

8) Join #EPO, the Many - the #Socialist & #GreenSocialist Opposition to the UK Tory Govt! Simply begin using hashtag #EPO to join. #EPO stands for #ExtraParliamentaryOpposition.

9) WE NEED RADICAL CHANGE! The ruling elite will NEVER willingly give up their power or permit much needed reform of the corrupt UK Westminster Parliament & over-centralised so-called "representative democracy".The only course left to us is #EPO - Extra Parliamentary Opposition!

10) We must therefore form a new "Popular Front" of Socialists & Green Socialists - #EPO, or Extra-Parliamentary-Opposition - to work outside of the current failed political system.
