Not sure who needs to hear this, but this is a strong personal view of mine. Consider this as a #Rant. Contd...

If you are a student of any sort and born after the 1980's , not having basic computer and technology skills is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Perhaps those born before the millennial generation can be excused since some skills are difficult to acquire after a certain age and need a certain background

However, if you are someone who has lived their young adulthood using computers, smartphones, and the internet, not having basic technical skills is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

It is certainly not something to laugh over or to be considered a quirk.

Over several months I have encountered students much younger than me who can't login to their Zoom meetings, cannot share a screen or even unmute themselves or make a half descent PowerPoint presentation.

These are absolutely necessary skills in today's world and if you don't know them then LEARN THEM FIRST.

I cannot teach you to how to refresh your browser window or how to check speaker and microphone on Zoom or how to share an article over WhatsApp, WE ASSUME YOU KNOW ALL THIS AND IF NOT YOU BETTER DO.

Sorry for the #Rant. Rant Complete.

PS: Please learn basic tech skills. You NEED THEM.
