Today, we joined @ImmDef, @HaitianBridge, @EspacioMigrante, @AFSCSanDiego, @PuebloSF & @AlOtroLado_Org in Tijuana to provide urgently needed information to hundreds of people still in dangerous conditions waiting for their day of #WelcomeWithDignity to seek asylum in the US. 
The organizations in California on the US side of the border are fully prepared to safely #WelcomeWithDignity those who seek protection in the US from harm in their home countries and in Mexico.
While we are overjoyed for the 25 people whose families will sleep safely in the US tonight after being removed from MPP, there is an urgent need for clear information and solutions for those still in danger in Mexico. We will keep fighting by their side to #DefendAsylum.
Today we spoke with hundreds of people who are not in Phase 1 of the government’s plan to rebuild asylum at the border. Women who missed MPP courts because they were pregnant and CBP wouldn’t let them in. People affected by the illegal metering system. Expelled under Title 42.
Black migrants in particular have been disproportionately impacted. A large number of the people at the border today looking for information were Haitians who have been waiting for years with no solution. @GuerlineMJozef of @HaitianBridge was there to provide information.
By a rough count, our partner organizations with the California Welcoming Task Force and we gave out around 1000 flyers today in Spanish, Haitian Creole and English with updated information about asylum processing.
