Imagine: An Elected Law Enforcement Officer Sworn To The Constitution

How, exactly, is law enforced? There are two basic models. A police department is empowered under its local magistrates. A sheriff’s department is empowered under the vote.
2) Be clear, the vote is a very messy thing. Elections cost money. People who give money want benefits in return. Democracies have, throughout history, failed as a result. The politician may be corrupted. The public trust may be abused.
3) How is this addressed? The traditional answer has been character, as judged by a superior. A king appoints his local officers on the basis of their character, as perceived by himself. They collect his taxes and enforce his royal mandates. He likes them.
4) I am a supporter, a lover of the police. I haven't always been, quite the contrary. But as age replaced youth, I found that law and order rose in my values and the police were its rightful arbiters. I support the police. It's taken me decades to learn what I oppose.
5) I oppose those who boss the police. I oppose those who rewrite the law against the law itself. I oppose those who twist our Democracy against the very nature of our Constitutional Republic. We are all three, a Democratic Constitutional Republic.
6) There is an office, storied in its history, still present in its oath of service. That office is the Office of the Sheriff. The moment you begin to research it, you'll discover that this office has roots at least 1,200 years old. It came to America from England in 1607.
7) If you wish to fully comprehend the meaning of the Office of the Sheriff in America today, you must reach back in our ancient history. It goes much farther, but you must reach back at least to our Magna Carta of 1215 AD. That's 561 years before our Declaration of Independence.
8) In the 1215 original version of the Magna Carta, there are 63 legal statements. Number 30 jumps off the page to me:

"No sheriff, royal official, or other person shall take horses or carts for transport from any free man, without his consent."
9) What is freedom? Freedom is the very thing that law protects. In America, we have identified its four elements:

1) Life
2) Liberty
3) The Pursuit of Happiness
4) Property
10) Cutting forward through our 1776 Declaration and our 1789 Constitution, there is a single principle that underlies all our freedom. We limit the power of the government over the person, the town...the county. In America, counties elect Sheriffs. And Sheriffs swear an oath.
11) The Oath is that: He will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution and laws of the state wherein he is elected, and will faithfully discharge all of the duties of the Office of Sheriff to the best of his ability, by calling upon God to help him.
12) Yesterday, for the first time in my entire life, I spent hard cash money to join something. I joined cspoa.org. The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Organization of America.
13) As I've studied, I've come to understand. My own county, Albemarle, in Virginia, has switched from a Sheriff's Office to a County Police Department many long years before I relocated here. This switch is the remove from elections.
14) Police departments are appointed by their superiors. Sheriffs are elected by their constituency. This is NOT to say police departments are anything other than loyal patriots. It is, however, to say that they are NOT obligated to our Constitution as Sheriffs are.
15) Perhaps you've already seen it, but I will ask and answer, why is this SO important right now?

Our election has been stolen. The person residing at the White House is NOT the Constitutional, and duly elected President. Our Senate also has been stolen by voter fraud.
16) There can be no doubt that free speech, our 1st Amendment is under the worst attack in all of American history. If you say, as I am, that the election was stolen, you risk - as I do - censure from the Big Brother apparatus.
17) The personification, literally, of the law itself is the County Sheriff. That is why so many decades ago my county abandoned the Sheriff's law enforcement function. My county wants NO ONE to stand for me against the power of the government.
18) The very idea of America itself is that the government's power must be limited if there is to be freedom for the citizen. There is no office that so strongly stands behind that proposition as that of the Office of the Sheriff.
19) Let's turn tactical. 2020's election was stolen by fraud. Judges allowed this to occur, rejecting every appeal to evidence. How can this evil trend in America be transformed? I do not trust Judges to live up to their calling. The judges are corrupt.
20) The last best line of freedom's defense in America is our Constitutionally dedicated Sheriffs. County by county, it is our Constitution itself that must be defended against all attack. That is why I joined the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers of America, yesterday.
21) My county's Sheriff is nothing other than a functionary, having no true law enforcement capability, neutered by the Police Department of my county. So, what will I do, tactically? First, I'll still reach out to them anyway. Perhaps patriotism lingers.
22) Assuming that gets me not much, I will county by county search the surrounding Offices of the Sheriff to find one that stands for our Constitution, as an elected Officer of the Law. I'll find someone! And once found, I'll sign on. I will do all I can to support.
23) It's simple. You can't correct a stolen election with corrupt judges. You can't protect the rights of citizens with minions of corrupted officials. It is only democratically elected Sheriffs who can, county by county, step into the breach.
24) County by county is the key phrase. The MAGA Mandate demands we rise, not just nationally, but county by county. And it is our Sheriffs who will protect us if we find the courage of our patriotism.

3,000+ Mini-POTUSs, But With Greater Powers

One sees different numbers. The best one I’ve got is 3,083 Sheriffs in America, of whom at least 98%, or a minimum of 3,021 are elected.
2) As you dive into the history, you rapidly discover that the Office of the Sheriff (NOT the Sheriff's Department) has been pilloried over the fact of its political nature. That a Sheriff must fight to win election has been poo-pooed by the elite in our nation.
3) As a student of The Left, and of Communism and its agenda, it never crossed my mind that the Constitutional nature of the Office of the Sheriff had placed it on their hit list. That is, before this very week. I now realize the Office has been under continuous attack.

Here's a bit of prep for tomorrow's work. Posse. In one word, it means that every citizen is responsible for catching evil doers and bringing them to justice. We all know who they are. The sheriff deputizes us. We ride. There is a hue and cry. We all ride.
Note that it is the sheriff who calls the hue and cry. It is not the police department. Why not? Police do not deputize. Sheriffs do. They talk about community policing. It's a great idea. Sheriffs, voted in by the people, have been doing just that for centuries.
Voted in by the people, the sheriff turns right back to the people and deputizes us with his hue and cry. It's on us to help him. Imagine that. Bad guys go run. They flee. We catch them. We bring them to justice. That is law and order. Without it, there is no freedom.

To Telegram. I was under the WRONG impression that there was NO desktop app for Telegram. Not ONLY wrong, but easy as pie. Mine is now up and running. Here's the link to get started:

desktop.telegram.org
You just follow the easy instructions, and if you already have a phone version, head over to settings and scan the QR code in, and boom, voilla, your desktop version is up and running with all your chats.
From what I've learned so far, there are several comparisons that help open up initial comprehension. First is DMs and DM rooms here at Twitter. Telegram is all about CHATTING. And it essentially replicates those Twitter functions, but with strong security. This is good.

Idealism Dies Hard, Pragmatism Births Hard

As I've shared, my diehard, Bastiat-Class Libertarian days were short lived: 2012 - 2016. You can't be an honest Libertarian and true Trump supporter at the same time. Let's talk about that.
2) I know Libertarians who at first more than detested Trump, they either didn't vote or truly pinched nose and squinted in the voting booth, hating every second and scurrying rapidly and stealthily away in self-disgust. I exaggerate, but only a little.
3) I know other Libertarians who were - unlike me - capable not only of liking and supporting Trump IN SPITE OF their ideals who were able to see him as a step in the right as opposed to the wrong direction. Those good souls are more naturally pragmatic than I am. I am a purest.

Here’s a little success story. From Safari, I couldn’t successfully log 🪵 to my Parler account. Someone here said to try it from Google instead. Go figure, it worked!
Ha! I didn’t notice the auto emoji for log 🪵...
Was it you, @idkaskmom, who clued me in on NOT going there from Safari?

A Theory Of Vision And Patience

Theories often wake me up stealthily. A bottle of water is needed, I think. Water imbibed but still not somnolent, there are always books available to read. Until...
2) The attempt at reading fails. A new, potential comprehension arises, far more as a guess than any positive assertion, and boom, a baby theory pops out and must be captured before it flits away. DJT is a visionary, patient, and in complete control of...himself.
3) You hear the theories out there that he is crushed under his horrible defeat. Or, that his is in complete control of all the requisite apparatus to reemerge as Commander In Chief, having never actually surrendered. There was a lawful election, and he maintains, we're told.
