5 Tweets types that always get likes and retweets.
// Thread
1. Quote a bigger account
This is how you get your favorite Twitter personalities to retweet you.
Quote something they’ve tweeted and tag them in the tweet.
2. The Summary Tag Method
Write a thread where you show your favorite tweets of a popular Twitter account.
Add a short commentary about the tweet.
And paste a link to the original tweet on each of your thread's tweets.
Tag the account in the first tweet of the thread.
3. Us vs Them Tweets
Find a common enemy you can dunk on.
Groups of people are the best targets.
Personally, I talk smack about dumb people, politicians, activists, and vegans (although I always get into trouble when I throw pebbles at the vegan hive.)
4. Alliterations Tweets
These are the easiest tweets to write.
I learned this tweeting style from @EdLatimore, who is Twitter Royalty.
Just repeat the first couple of words of the first sentence in all the sentences of the tweet.
5. Feel-good Personal Stories
Did you buy a house?
Build a new business?
Help your wife retire?
Write a short thread describing your emotions and the journey.
