Humanity is one of the teachings of Islam, Allah SWT has ordained the believers to be loving, compassionate, sympathetic and be generous in their behaviors.

Allah SWT says in the Holy Qur'an: "Indeed, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred; and forbids indecency, and manifest evil, and wrongful transgression. He admonished you that you may take heed". (Al Quran 16:91)

This was the reason why Prophet Muhammad conquered the world in a very short period of time, because of the teachings of Islam, he was taught to love and be sympathetic to his subjects.

Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass as someone who loves and always follow the footsteps of the prophet also inherited this beautiful behaviors of his beloved master, Sheikh said in one of his poems:

أحب لذات الله حقا وإنني
حلالي إيمان ونهجي مهذب
فإن فخر الأقوام حقا وإنني
أفاخر والهادي الأمين وأطرب
وربي وربي الله حقا فلم أقف
لتهديد جبار حجا يتقلب

I love him more than my children, parent, myself and my family. Nevertheless, more than my questionable possessions.
I really love him for the sake of Allah and verily my faith is delighted and my path is refined.

If some people boast with something else, verily I am proud of AlHadi, AlAmin and i am delighted (in him).

In this thread I am going to talk about some of sheikh's goals towards humanity:

1. Unity: Allah SWT has emplored believers to always be Unified, and never separate as we can see in Qur'an 3:103:

"Hold fast together to the cable of Allah83 and be not divided. Remember the blessing that Allah bestowed upon you: you were once enemies then He brought your hearts together, so that through His blessing you became brothers...

... You stood on the brink of a pit of fire and He delivered you from it. Thus Allah makes His signs clear to you that you may be guided to the right way".

Also the prophet SAW has commanded Muslims to unite, unity makes them stronger as we can see in the hadith Narrated by Abu Musa: The Prophet said, "A faithful believer to a faithful believer is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other."

While (saying that) the Prophet clasped his hands, by interlacing his fingers.

So also was Sheikh's messages to the Muslims across the globe, especially his murids (students) as he reminded them the power of unity in alot of his letters to them, he was always calling for unity.

Sheikh visited many cities all over the world to spread Islam and also to teach them the unity in this deen.

Sheikh mentioned some of his visitation of love & da'awah in some of his poems like:
ببلحيك يوم ثم يوما تجولا
بقاهرة أبغي هناك جمالا
ببيروت أنحوا الصين بالشرق خادما
رسول إله العرش وهو تعالى
All these place and others alike are places sheikh visited to spread Islam, love and unity

2. Seeking knowledge: seeking knowledge is compulsory on a muslim and muslimah, this was the message of Prophet Muhammad, Islam has commanded all muslims to seek knowledge wherever they are,

that was the reason why the first verse that was revealed in the holy Qur'an started with the word اقرأ (Read).

Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass also had this message to his murids and the Muslim ummah, he always encourages his Murids to seek knowledge and more knowledge, the letter he sent to his children while they were studying in Al Azhar attest to this, not just his male children,

also his female children, that is why he was saying in one of his poems:

يا أيها البنات ذاحمن إلي
نيل العلي أما بالأبدان فلا

In Ruhul Adab sheikh said:
لا بد أن تقدم التعلما
فكن لشرعة الإله محكما
فالعلم عمري هو إمام العمل
كما أتى عن طه خير الرسل

3. Love of Prophet: when we talk about the love of Prophet, Sheikh Ul Islam is a leading boat in this aspect, we love him not because of any worldly thing, but because of his love for the prophet.

All his poems are praises for the prophet, he had mentioned on numerous times how much he loves the prophet more than himself, how he loves him more than his parents, and more than his children.

Sheikh also mentioned in one of his poem:
فآثرت حب المصطفى دون غيره
ولو أم كلثوم ولو كان مريما
فو الله ما في القلب حظ لغيره
فغير رسول الله ليس لتعلما

I preffer the love of almustapha to the love of any other person, even to the love of ummul khulthum and Maryam.
I swear by Allah that there is no space in my heart for any other being than apostle of Allah. Therefore be aware.

4. Obedience: Obedience is one of the integrity of a good Muslim, the prophet SAW encouraged us to be obedient to leaders even if that leader were to be a slave,

A man said: "O Prophet of Allah, this is as if it were a parting advice. So advise us". He (ﷺ) said, "I admonish you to fear Allah, to listen and obey even if an Abyssinian slave is appointed as your leader. Because whosoever among you shall live after me, will see much discord.

So hold fast to my Sunnah and the examples of the Rightly- Guided Caliphs who will come after me. Adhere to them and hold to it fast. Beware of new things (in Deen) because every Bid'ah is a misguidance".

Allah also said in the Quran:
"O believers! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. Should you disagree on anything, then refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you ˹truly˺ believe in Allah and the Last Day. This is the best and fairest resolution".

Sheikh also echoed this, he encouraged his Murids to always be of best of behaviours, obey leaders and shuyukh.

In Ruhul Adab sheikh indicated this in his saying:
فالأدب الأدب يا ذا السالك
فإنه الباب لكل سالك
ولتك خاشعة أخا تواضع
فلست بالوضع في التخاضع

These were some of the goals Sheikhul Islam Alhaji Ibrahim Inyass preached throughtout his life.

Today we celebrate him because of what he left for humanity.
