According to the latest report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on February 23, 2021, the nuclear watchdog has found anthropogenic uranium particles at two sites in Iran. @IAEAOrg @RafaelMGrossi @JosepBorrellF @HelgaSchmid_EU @USAbehFarsi

2⃣▶️The site was part of a project managed by main entity in charge of research & development of nuclear weapons, Organization of Defensive Innovation &Research (Sazman-e Pazhouheshhaye Novin-e Defa’i), known by its Persian acronym SPND). In 1990s, this entity was known as AMAD.

3⃣▶️It was constructed 4 a project dubbed Marivan, specifically for use of 1 of SPND‘s subdivisions, called METFAZ (Center 4 Research & Expansion of Technologies on Explosions & Impact). METFAZ is engaged in research & construction of nuclear high-explosive detonators. @ExtSpoxEU

4⃣▶️Dr. Saeed Borji, 1 of regime’s top explosives & high-impact specialists who 4 years worked directly under supervision of Brig.Gen. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, key figure in regime’s nuclear weapons project, has been involved in Marivan project.

6⃣▶️The process to sanitize the site is very similar to processes implemented in Shian-Lavizan in 2004 as well as a part of the Parchin site in 2012, where there was a special explosive chamber.
