EKSG Concessions Ikogosi Warm Resort to Private Investor
Nigeria’s foremost tourism & hospitality company, @Irinajo_NG, has signed a concession agreement with the investment arm of @ekitistategov, Fountain Holdings Limited over the Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort for 15 years.
The Ikogosi resort, which was revived and fully operational during the first tenure of Governor Kayode Fayemi, was abandoned and left to rot by the succeeding administration.
This agreement comes after a long search by the Fayemi administration to secure a private investor to rehabilitate and take over the operation of the Ikogosi warm spring resort.
During the signing ceremony, the CEO of IrinAjo, Mr. Adedamola Idowu @dharmorla said the company was inspired by the ‘beautiful and uncommon phenomenon’ the resort is, adding that he intends to further push the global acclaim of the resort further than it is.
Mr Idowu said though there are challenges, he has a masterplan to reposition the facility in two phases – first, to return it to operational capacity and to expand the facility – which will be completed before December 2021.
Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort is a unique hospitality facility with a rare natural warm spring with a confluence of warm & cold water maintaining their thermal properties. The facility which has been developed with 91 rooms of different cadres, a unique warm spring swimming pool,...

The Government of Ekiti State regrets the gruesome killing of two farmers in Isaba-Ekiti, Ikole Local Government. The dear departed are reported to have been industrious family men and community leaders who were popular and well loved by the community.
They were identified as Toyin Akeju a.k.a. Jisoro, and Mr. Yusuf Onoche a.k.a. Baba Owala. They did not deserve the fate that befell them.
We empathise with the Asaba of Isaba-Ekiti, HRH Oba Olanrewaju Oluwaseun Adeyanju, the families of our slain kinsmen, and the entire people of Isaba-Ekiti on this tragic occurrence, which has understandably led to demonstrations in protest of the killings.
