Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) introduces an amendment to the COVID relief bill about ... trans athletes in sports?

"Under this amendment, educational institutions would prohibit from receiving funding if by biological males are allowed to compete in women's athletics."
Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) NOT having this Tuberville amendment: "...simply an attempt to discriminate against transgender students."

"For the love of God can't we just have a little bit of heart and compassion in this world for someone who doesn't look or live exactly like you."

Georgia’s Black population turned out in record numbers for the November election. They clinched the victory for Joe Biden, the first Democrat to win the state since 1992.

Now, Republicans in the state want to make it harder for Georgians to vote.

GA state Republicans have introduced bills to drastically change voting procedures.

One House bill limits weekend early voting to just one Saturday — eliminating early voting on Sundays, when Black churches hold “Souls to the Polls” events.

✅ Adding voter ID requirements to mail-in ballots
✅ Limiting the time frame to request & send back ballots
✅ Ending no-excuse absentee voting
