Because what was perceived as a problem did not require any sort of intellect. It required character and will which they all assumed was present &was enough. Now that you "blame" a section for their choice what was your choice? I ask because "intellectuals" like you forget that
It was a choice between two candidates and parties with almost the same set of recycled minds. People like you sit on the fence and pontificate. Did you vote then or advocated for the "better" choice? Did you participate actively in ensuring that the primaries produce the right
Candidates? Are even aware of how party politics is played aside form the media optics and the executive positions? Politics like every other product is 50% perception 10% intellect and 40% grassroot hard work. Do you even know the wards in your local government? Have you tried
To wrap it around your head why "intellectuals" elected your state governor? Aside from looking for opportunities to make money (A.K.A Contracts) from your state government do you know his ward? Who is your L.G.A chairman? Have you wrapped your head around why he is chairman?
Has your Governor or L.G.A chairman created, built, made anything before their joining politics?
My point is
1. Aside from '93 we have not been blessed with good choices largely because the majority of us stay away from politics
2. Don't limit the seeming incredulity to@MBuhari
A lot of our politicians should not be in government.
3. Get involved beyond the clout chasing rhetorics on twitter. Register for one party and be part of the Selection process
4. Next election VOTE. Don't come here and pontificate after your fave loses. That is democracy.
You may not like it but the majority carries the day. In this instance you are the minority. What you wrap your head around matters not. What matters is your practicable solution starting from your L.G.A, then State, then your House of Assembly. Then bother about the center.

Sometimes I just look back and wish things had happened very differently. Do I regret choosing my Wife over my Family? No. Do I begrudge them? No. I Love my family to bits& I also know I am the least understood of them all. Will I do it again with everything I know now?
Maybe. I'll want all of my family members to be at my wedding and accept the woman I love For who she is& what she stands for. It was not the case when I got married. It was alienating. And that is a pretty toxic situation that breeds other very unpleasant issues that may make or
Mar the marriage. Against all odds I went against my Father's wishes and married the "girl of my dreams". My sisters begged, fought me and didn't show up at my wedding nor did my Dad. My younger sister's husband showed up and to be honest I don't know how he pulled that off.

On the 21st of October I asked these questions in my tweet below. I was convinced that it was impossible for the Nigeria Military who had conducted themselves with all sense of responsibility since the protests began; to turn around and behave like wild
Packs of hyenas. I suspected a fifth column. The @HQNigerianArmy is not telling the truth about Lekki and I suspect why. National Security and classified information. The truth is @jidesanwoolu and the @HQNigerianArmy know exactly what they were/are dealing with. It is not pretty
The road to Lekki started in Ughelli where the man in the picture was arrested by Operation Delta Safe. The entire scene was like something from Nollywood. The guy and others drove a Lexus SUV unmarked, unlicenced. They took off when they saw the police vehicle. The police gave

MY #COVID19 EXPERIENCE. A #Thread
Sunday June 14 2020 started out like any other day.I was working on my PC when my phone rang and a friend called to check up on me.We had spent sometime together the penultimate week.During our conversation a question that should have been normal
was asked. This time it set off all the alarm bells. Now I am the Jagaban for roots, fruits and herbs amongst my friends. From tooth ache to cancer it is not unusual that you hear during the course of a conversation "I am or someone close is feeling this;what can I use?"
It is either I give them an answer offhand or ask that they give me a few days to research depending on the severity of the ailment. So when my friend asked what can be used to restore sense of taste and smell, I sat up! I asked how long the loss of taste and smell has been going
