Who is watching #SistasOnBET, #FirstWivesClub & #BiggerOnBet tonight? I wanna chat with my fellow watchers.
Andi is so belligerent about crazy ass Gary it makes absolutely no sense. Karen should let her ruin her life and mind her business. You can't fix stupid chile...#SistasOnBET
Dani just talks to people any ole kind of way. I get her anger towards Preston's brothers but she acted a whole ass towards his sister. #SistasOnBET

By full accounting John Fetterman means gaslighting & refusing to atone. Gun violence in a community doesn't give one license to chase with a shotgun an unarmed Black jogger. Sensationalizing the context to justify his actions is appalling. Do better Dems!
Conflating gun violence with an unarmed Black jogger is gaslighting. Dismissing concerns as political adversaries is not taking accountability. Saying IF I fell short is not an apology. #JohnFetterman refusing to unequivocally apologize is unacceptable. Dems have been warned.
By the way the police report at the time shows Fetterman is LYING about his account. Again, Miyares was UNARMED despite Fetterman telling police he KNEW the man was armed. Miyares jogged daily & was wearing "running gear & headphones" not "commando gear" Fetterman lied & said.

Who is watching this CNN special on #MVPHarris? So far, so good...but you know I gotta keep my eyes open 👀
I wish the word choice would've been more precise in describing the SFPD (emphasis on PD) drug scandal that KAMALA HARRIS dismissed the cases on her own volition far beyond the cases touched by the tech. More info...
Shout out to @lateefahsimon for her incredible work with then DA Kamala Harris...particularly on her Back on Track Program. #MVPHarris

Already regretting this $50 I spent. I should've checked Twitter before pressing purchase. #tysonvsjones 😫😫😂😂😂
Segawa & Ortiz are giving us a nice, fast paced scrappy fight. These punches had very little power behind them the first two rounds, but now they are really knocking each other around. #tysonvsjones
Segawa tapped into his inner Lil Kim...can't say I've seen that move before lol #tysonvsjones 😂😂

I resisted replying to the cesspool ignorance in Charlamagne's IG comments, but let me say: swatting down irrefutable/ quantifiable Black progress with "yeah but what did you do specifically for Black folx" is ridiculous & shows a lack of understanding of SCOTUS rulings/civics.
There are ways to tackle systemic racism & inequities...but when I hear the question "what have you done/will you do SPECIFICALLY for Black people" it is almost never in reference to tackling the Black maternal or infant mortality rate (not in the CWBA)...it's about quotas.
To believe not implementing racial quotas is a betrayal of Black people is to completely ignore decades of court rulings (incl SCOTUS) that have outlawed "inflexible quotas". Summary ⬇️. The key is evaluating the legally allowed targets/goals for efficacy.

Thread: I really need y'all political Johnny Come Lately Black saviors to understand: a lack of good ideas & will power are NOT why we haven't made more advancements in the Black community. Even ideas that once implemented are incredibly popular often took DECADES of advocacy.
Let's talk institutional power. Cube & others have taken to saying we have over 7,000 Black people elected and gotten nothing 🤔(false). Context matters there are 500000 elected officials in the US with Black electeds accounting for ~9K/2%. That power is not evenly distributed.
Let's look at the US Congress. Out of 12,526 individuals elected, only 162/1.3% are Black. The current session of Congress has the highest number of Black electeds with 57 out of 541. While Black officials make up 11.7% of VOTING members in the House they are 3% in the Senate.
