@Hadithoftheday Qabil - Son of Adam A.S
Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud R.A:
Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "Whenever a person is murdered unjustly, there is a share from the burden of the crime on the first son of Adam for he was the first to start the tradition of murdering." - (Sahih Bukhari 3335)
@Hadithoftheday Qabeel was the son of Adam A.S and brother of Habeel.
Qabeel Killed Habeel out of jealousy and personal desire.
Every time, a murder is committed, Qabeel will also have to bear the sin as well as Qabeel was the first person on earth to have killed a human being.
@Hadithoftheday This story of two sons of Adam A.S is related in Surah Ma'idah.
Allah says in Qur'an:
And recite to them the story of Adam’s two sons in truth, when they presented an offering and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other.” (5:27)
@Hadithoftheday Hawwa A.S bore sets of twins, & in each birth there was a male & a female child.
In those times, they were commanded that each son would marry the sister of his brother with whom she was born, in other words, no one was allowed to get married with his sister with whom he was born
@Hadithoftheday The time arrived when the two young men ( Habeel and Qabeel) desired life partners. This was part of Allah's plan for mankind, to multiply and form nations with different cultures and colours. +
@Hadithoftheday Adam A.S instructed his children according to Allah's command, that is to marry each other’s twin, but Qabil was displeased with the partner chosen for him, for Habil’s twin sister was not as beautiful as his own. Qabil rebelled against Allah’s command.
@Hadithoftheday The brothers then offered a sacrifice to Allah.
The purpose of the sacrifice was to determine which of the two brothers had more right to Qabil’s sister. Habil sacrificed a plump young sheep, while Qabil offered a bundle of the worst crops he had grown.
@Hadithoftheday Fire then came down from Heaven, consuming Habil’s offering leaving Qabil’s according to Allah’s words,
They both offered a sacrifice to Allah, and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. (Qur’an 5:27)
Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him]. If you should raise your hand against me to kill me - I shall not raise my hand against you to kill you. Indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds. (Qur’an 5:27-28)
@Hadithoftheday Habil continued, reminding Qabil that if he killed him wrongfully, he would assume the burden of all of Habil’s sins,
Indeed I want you to obtain [thereby] my sin and your sin so you will be among the companions of the Fire. And that is the recompense of wrongdoers.(Qur’an 5:29)
@Hadithoftheday Qabil pursued while Habil trying to escape from him. It is said that Qabil came upon Habil while he was asleep.
Allah says in Qur'an:
And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers. (Qur’an 5:30)
@Hadithoftheday Allah, who had taken the pure soul of Habeel, showed mercy to his body as well. He taught the criminal,& through him all mankind, the proper way to dispose of a body after death. +
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
“Then Allah sent a crow searching [i.e., scratching] in the ground to show him how to hide the disgrace of his brother (Qur'an 5:31).
@Hadithoftheday The crow sent by Allah alighted nearby. It began to scratch the ground until a hollow appeared, and Qābeel perceived that this was the way to conceal his brother’s body.
“He said, ‘O woe to me! Have I failed [even] to be like this crow and hide the disgrace of my brother? (5:31)
@Hadithoftheday The magnitude of Qabeel’s crime is illustrated by the following hadith: “No soul is killed unjustly but the first son of Adam bears a part of that sin. Because he was the first to initiate this tradition of killing.” (Bukhari). +
@Hadithoftheday This hadith does not imply that the murderer is exonerated from his crime. Rather, whenever a murder is committed, Qabeel will also bear the sin of that murder, being the originator of such action.
@Hadithoftheday Lessons: 1. The seed of envy quickly becomes a tree of enmity. Sonit must be crushed. 2. A peaceful person never attacks first but if he is attacked unjustly, he must defend himself vehemently. 3. When one kills someone unjustly, it is as if he killed the whole humanity

@Hadithoftheday Fig and Olive.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"By the fig and the olive"
(Qur'an. At-Tin 95: Verse 1)
@Hadithoftheday Umar ibn al-Khattaab said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Eat olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree.” - Tirmidhi
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters." [al-Mu’minoon 23:20]
@Hadithoftheday Lut A.S.
The angels arrived at the outskirts of Lut A.S's town in the form of very handsome human beings.
They said to Lut A.S as mentioned in Qur'an,
“O Lut, indeed we are messengers of your Lord; [therefore], they will never reach you,” (Qur’an 11:80)
@Hadithoftheday Community of Lut A.S was destroyed by their land turning upside down and a rain of stones (sijjil) fell upon them.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned."
(Qur'an. Ash-Shu'araa 26: Verse 173)
@Hadithoftheday Lut A.S went to the city of Sodom after Ibrahim A.S had asked him to do so.
The people of Sodom were of the most immoral and insolent nature. Although they were guilty of many vices, one stands out glaringly among all the rest – homosexuality or sodomy.
@Hadithoftheday The Ansar were the people of Madinah who welcomed and accepted the Muhajirin.
"Ansar" is an arabic word which means "Helpers".
Ansar were the local people of Madinah who took Muhammad ﷺ & his followers (Muhajirin) into their homes when they migrated from Makkah during Hijrah.
@Hadithoftheday Ansar were the Medinese who aided Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Muhajirun (Makkan Muslims who emigrated from makkah to madinah).
The Ansar were members of the two major Medinese tribes,
1.Al-Khazraj and 2. Al-Aws,
@Hadithoftheday Ansar were the people from Madinah who gave material support and the bayah (pledge of allegiance) to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and by the permission of Allah made the hijrah possible.
The event of the Hijrah was a turning point in the history of Islam
@Hadithoftheday Protection of Allah Against Satan (Shaytan).
Allah says in Qur'an:
"So when you recite the Qur'an, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy]."
(Qur'an. An-Nahl 16: Verse 98)
@Hadithoftheday One should seek refuge with Allah from Satan. It is because that Satan is expelled from the mercy of Allah and is an enemy to humans as Allah says in Qur'an:
"Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy." (Surah Fatir: 6).
@Hadithoftheday Satan aspires to avert one away from the straight path of Allah, so one should treat him as an enemy and protect himself/herself from him by obeying Allah and seeking refuge with Him.
@Hadithoftheday Isa Ibn Maryam A.S (Jesus)
Isa A.S was raised by Maryam A.S.
Isa A.S had no father.
Maryam A.S’s high standing with Allah is well-known - she has an entire Surah named after her in the Qur’an - Surah Maryam.
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
"And mention when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah]." (3:45)
@Hadithoftheday There are few titles of Isa A.S as given in the Qur’an:
They are : 1. Al-Masih 2. Ruh 3. Abdullah 4. Mubarak 5. Ayah 6. Rahmah 7. Kalimah 8. Wajeeh 9. Ul-ul-’Azm 10. Ibn Maryam
@Hadithoftheday Ayoub A.S.
Narrated Abi Hurayrah R.A, The Prophet ﷺ said, "Once while Ayoub A.S was taking a bath in a naked state. Suddenly a great number of gold locusts started falling upon him and he started collecting them in his clothes.+
@Hadithoftheday His Lord called him, 'O Ayoub! Didn't I make you rich enough to dispense with what you see now? ' Ayoub A.S said, 'Yes, O Lord! But I cannot dispense with Your Blessings.' ( Sahih Bukhari - 7493)
@Hadithoftheday Prophet Ayoub A.S was a man who lost everything - his children, wealth and his health, but he never lost his faith on Allah.
Ayoub A.S was a patient man. His patience was Exampelary.
