Apart from Ramayana, Mahabharata & Bhagavad-Gita, Every Individual Must Have
#MankutimmanaKagga at their Prayer Room.
Why?
There are very few people who can explain the beauty of Sanatana Dharma like #DVGundappa did.
Smile is a natural Dharma– It is the basic nature of human to
be happy.
Making others smile is immaculate Dharma
It is an exalted nature to make others happy.
There is another Dharma which is Supreme & above these 2, that is Smiling looking at others happiness.
We must pray to the almighty, the all-merciful to get this as a boon & to lead
our lives by smiling & by making others smile.
This is the only gift we can be able to provide for the mankind.
Can anybody believe these great "philosophical words for the mankind" came from a person who failed in his 10th Class?
No words are enough to pay tributes for
#DVGundappa or #DVG.
Born on 17/03/1887 at Mulabagilu Near Kolar, DVG studied in the local school and went to High school at Kolar.

He appeared for Matriculation examination but did not get through Kannada, Maths and Science.
His Formal Education Ended There!
Nevertheless,
DVG had a passion for reading, he mastered Sanskrit, Kannada And English Literature.
History, Judiciary, Political Science, Poems, Economics were his favourites too & he became an expert in these subjects as well.
His stint as a journalist, editor & regular contribution for
periodicals also moulded him.
He published more than fifty books consisting of 8,000 pages. Another 1,500 pages of editorials, reports, speeches, statements and reviews several of which remained unpublished.
Department of Kannada & Culture of Karnataka State, brought out 11
volumes of his writings, edited
By Dr Ha Ma Nayak on his birth centenary.

DVG was not just a poet, he worked closely with at least 4 Diwans of Mysore including Sir M Visvesvaraya & Mirza Ismail.
DVG was deeply inspired by Gopala Krishna Gokhale & in 1945 established
#GokahaleInstitute at Bangalore.
DVG wanted his life to be simple, to fade away unnoticed as he usually claimed, but his writings didn't leave him to be as per his wish.
The 10th Failed Student Who Masterd Several Languages & Subjects Received Kendra Sahitya Academy Award for
his Modern Day Bhagavad-Gita in 1967
Sequel 4 MankutimmanaKagga was Marula Muniyana Kagga, which had 825 Verses as against 945 from the latter.
All these were published after his demise.
Like the growing tail of Hanuman in Lanka,Questions and problems keep Surging forth for this
talkative,a stammerer, Marula Muniya"
DVG wrote Shreemad Bhagavad-Gita Tatpraya also called Jeevana Dharma Yoga, which is an extraordinary work of literature providing common man realise the values of life.
It is literally a handbook for life & this work brought him Sahitya
Academy Award. @sahityaakademi

#VasantaKusumanjali was the 1st poetic collections of DVG.
Here, DVG narrated the stories of major freedom fighters and achievers in poetic way.
DVG also wrote biographies of great personalities like Acharya Vinoba Bhave, Gopala Krishna Gokhale
and Mysore's Diwan Rangacharlu, but his best was
written on #MaharshiVidyaranya, the doyen of Vijayanagara Kongdom.

His work is considered as an authority for many major historians who sketched the Beautiful Hampi.
DVG started his career with publishing 2 journals,
Bharata & Karnataka, then came Sumathi & later an English Weekly
He also wrote "Principles of Constitution" & "Probity In Public Life".
The Gokhale Institute he established was a place for discussion for Intellectuals and Common Men of Bangalore
The great #DVG was bestowed
with Padmabhushan in 1974 & unlike many fake freedom fighters, he Rejected the Pension offered by Govt, and also donated entire money of around 1 lakh to Gokhale Institute which he received from Karnataka Govt.

The legendary writer D V Gundappa joined Krishna’s feet on
07th October 1975 leaving behind Millions of Fans & 1000s of Works for Mankind.

Was Chandrashekhar Azad the first victim of Nehru’s Political Murders?
On his Balidan Divas, a small tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and a brief visit on his life and death.
Azad's Nephew Sujit Azad claims that
1) Nehru informed British about Presence of Chandrasekhar Azad at Alfred Park, because other than Nehru & fellow HRA members nobody else knew that he was coming there.

Dr Rajendra Prasad, the President of the Constituent Assembly, said Rau “was the person who visualised the plan and laid the foundation” of the Indian Constitution.

The Indian Constitution was drafted by a core committee of seven experts headed by Dr BR Ambedkar.
Ambedkar was chosen
the head because he had already served in various sub-committees, but before that he faced severe opposition from Abul Kalam and Nehru, but it was Rajendra Prasad who inducted him opposing the then President of Congress.
There is much talk about who really was the biggest brain
