Because of some anti-Netanyahu protesters arriving the police have closed off roads to the government quarter and interacted traffic in Jerusalem.
They have a massive deployment, I’ve rarely seen so many roads closed all around the government quarter and Rehavia
They put a truck across the road near the Monastery of the cross and here they have blocked these roads...not even residents can get through...not to many rights if you’re a Jerusalemite...
There also seem to be thousands of people converging on the city center
A lot of traffic and some of them seem to have protest flags

Thread- A theory about something, could be wrong but here it goes: there is a whole crowd of commentators in the US who are critical of Biden admin’s policy on Iran. They break down into several groups. Some concerned about Iran threats, some about a new Iran deal, some hate Iran
Some unfortunately have an obsessive conspiracy minded view where everything that happens is related to the former Obama admin and Iran. It’s unclear if their talk about Iran is really just a domestic political dispute and hatred for Obama’s old admin.
A few of these folk were also openly or quietly pro-AKP and Turkey’s authoritarian fascist regime, singing its praises and claiming the US needs a Turkey-first policy to “confront Iran” even though Ankara is actually working with Iran.

It would be unlikely that Saudi Arabia would buy Turkish drones, despite the latest claims of Ankara. Remember the false Turkey-Greek drones story. Anyway; BUT: Riyadh does need drones, it had acquired Chinese drones. US looks to reduce barring offensive weapon sales to Saudi
Question is if you’re Saudi Arabia and need drones where else do you buy armed drones besides 🇨🇳 or 🇺🇸....of course there are other manufacturers of loitering munitions, for instance. Riyadh doesn’t have relations yet with one of them.

Thread on #IronDome, Israel announced today #breakingnews that the air defense system "was tested in a range of complex scenarios and successfully intercepted and destroyed targets; emerging threats, including the simultaneous interception of multiple UAVs, salvo of rockets..."
This matters. Israel's Defense Minister Benny Gantz: "these new capabilities provide the political echelon and defense establishment with the operational flexibility that is critical to our national security." There were also two recent Iron Dome flight tests.
In February, as I wrote, Israel tested the system at sea, this time it was in southern Israel; defensenews.com/training-sim/2…
