The April Fools' Day Email:

April Fools Day presents a great opportunity to engage your audience w/witty content.

It also makes for a great opportunity to incorporate interactive elements in your email.

Think entertaining GIFs, animations, pun-filled copy, bright-colors, etc
What I'm getting at is: April Fools' Day is all about having fun with your marketing messaging and it's a great way to humanize your brand.

The King Kanine email highlights that this sale is no joke. They keep this email simple and also provide a solid discount.
Claire’s has a 1 liner of text overlaid on the image that's upside down: "Don't be an April Fool". Here they're using a large % off. I think 50% off is a bit extreme, but to each their own. I think there needs to be a more clear CTA instead of the one they're currently using ">".
Subject Line Ideas:
•Keep this a secret...

•This SALE is no Joke!

•50% OFF Jewelry, Hair & Beauty

Preview Text Ideas:
•This deal is no joke.

•Happy April Fools Day

•Don't be an April Fool

The 15 Commandments of Agencies

15 lessons I've learned from building a 7 figure agency from scratch and making over $50 million for our clients.

//THREAD//
1) Good clients are everything.

I've worked with all sorts of clients and always come to the same conclusion:

Make sure you vibe with every single one of them.

Even if they pay well, one bad client spoils the bunch.

Not worth it.
2) Hire well

You're not a freelancer.

Don't do everything on your own.

Instead, focus on hiring the best and letting them work.

Great team members are expensive but worth it.

THREAD:

The levels of agency profitability:

One of the most interesting things I’ve learned about running an agency for the last 3 years.
Stage 1: The Early Days

The most profitable you’ll ever be is when you’re starting out.

Typically you’ll have to do most everything by yourself.

So with very low overhead, most of what you earn, you keep (outside taxes of course).

Let’s say at this stage you’re doing $10k per
month in revenue and you have $2k in overhead.

You end up with $8k per month in profit (outside taxes).

So what does stage 2 look like?

How I went from $0 to making over $50 million for my clients (while being sick).

A thread on how an incurable disease and email changed my life:
Before we begin,

Let me just say it’s not that easy for me to share this with you.

And while not everything went well,

I did learn many useful lessons you might need down the road:
When I was 13 I used to play a ton of sports.

All of them.

Loved athletics and everything about it.

Until one winter break, I got sick with this thing called Crohn’s disease:

How To Cash In During The Holidays:
All things equal, remember that people are master procrastinators.

Not good.

The 20 Commandments of Email.

Lessons from making over $50 Million for clients and building a 7-figure email marketing agency from scratch.

//THREAD//
1) Treat your subs with respect

People didn't sub to your list to be spammed.

People subbed to your list because you have something to offer and they're interested in you.

Keep it that way.
2) Test Everything
