HIGHLIGHTS:

- Means to redeem from the curse of sin. Ephesians 1:7; Galatians 3:13-14
- Christ made Himself a sacrifice for our sin and He did it once and for all.
FOR REMISSION:
- To release from penalty of guilt and sin.
Jesus came so that we can be free to be who God wants us to be.
What could have limited us has been triumphed over by Christ. Hallelujah! Matthew 26:28; Romans 3:24-26
- Christ made it possible for us to have access to God. 1John 1:6-7
FOR RECONCILIATION:
Restoration back to friendship & harmony.
- Christ brought man to the place of friendship and harmony with God. Romans 5:6-11
- In Eden, when man sinned, he was locked out, but when Jesus dies and resurrected, that was settled; what was lost in Eden was regained. We now have access, not just to eternal life but abundant life. Ephesians 2:14-20; 1Peter 1:3
PURGED CONSCIENCE FROM DEAD WORKS:
- Jesus have come to purge man from things that are not pleasing to God. Hebrews 10:13-14
- A man who has his conscience purged from dead works will find it easier to be victorious over the devil.
WE HAVE VICTORY OVER THE DEVIL
- Colossians 2:13-15 Jesus have disarmed principality and power and given us the victory.
Ephesians 1:18-22; Isaiah 53:1-4; 1Peter 2:24
Christ have overcome the devil and his associates, including poverty and sickness.
The first response to celebrating Easter is genuine repentance.
Naturally, many a time, man looks at outward appearances to draw conclusions, whereas our Lord, looks inwardly, beneath the surface. (John 7:24).
Not everything in life is of equal unit, Most times, we focus on things that are not very important.
Don't live with the intention of proving anything to anyone, You are not here for popularity sake, but you are here on a mission(To please the one who sent you).
(John 7:16).
Your popularity does not really matter, what matters is what heaven says about you.
