Alberta School Councils Association AGM will be held April 25 and includes resolution 21-05 which debates the draft curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity to stand for a better curriculum............

"Since September, 22 students from Alberta schools have been hospitalized for COVID-19 with two being treated in ICUs

As of Dec 3, AHS has confirmed 2,681 individuals with COVID-19 were present at schools...

🧵This article lays out the plan Kenney is putting into play here in #ABed. Considering #Bill15 (promotes & eases legislation around charter schools) in conjunction w this govts complete lack of leadership to reopen schools safely-can only be interpreted as market creation.

Lack of leadership, planning and funding for a safe reopening of Alberta public schools is not incompetence, it’s strategic.
It’s deliberate undermining of public education.
