(2/6) Of the 69 new cases, 0 cases are imported, 33 cases are local transmission with a known contact, & the other 36 cases are currently classified as under investigation with no immediate link to travel or local cases. There have also been 48 recoveries since the last update.
(3/6) The avg age of active cases is 41 years (med: 39 years) & the ages range from (age group: 0-9 years) to (age group: 80-100 years). The avg age of all hospitalized cases is 60 years (med: 57 years) & the age ranges from (age group: 20-29 years) to (age group: 80-100 years).
(4/6)The total number of confirmed cases in #Bermuda over the last year is 1469. The source of all cases is as follows:245 are imported;956 are Local transmission, 864 with known contact/source; 92 are Local transmission with an unknown source & 268 are under investigation.
(5/6) The 69 new cases are a combination of 2 days of reporting Friday’s tests: 21/1058 (2.0% pos rate); Saturday’s tests: 48/2176 (2.2% pos rate). For comparison, last Monday’s report had a positivity rate of 3.2%. Last Monday’s 7DayAvg Rt num was 2.11 today it is down to 1.38.
