/Another Very Short Thread!/
1
Carrying on from this thread about the 'sincere' offer by Pakies to 'permit' India to play Pakistan in hockey for the financial benefit of BOTH countries, here are some more thoughts
2
So right after the Paaki team reached back home, they decided to tell the entire world about why they behaved like .. well .. Paakis .. and did that naked 'victory' dance and offering their middle fingers to the spectators of their host country, India.
3
IT WAS INDIA'S CONSPIRACY, they shouted once back home!
Yup. Paaki players gone .. well .. Paaki .. and showcasing their culture in front of Indian audience, was all an Indian Conspiracy.
Beat that if you can!
🤣

INDIAN CAANSPIRAACY, shouted the Paakie coach Shahnaz Sheikh.
How, you asked?
It was a caanspiraacy to get two of his players suspended so that they lose the finals against Germany!
Yup. He actually said that.
I kid you not!
🤣
5
It gets even better!
IT WAS A NATURAL ACTION ON PART OF MY PLAYERS, he shouted when safely back home!
Yup, it must be a cultural thing in Pakistan, this entire business of obscene celebrations. Hence, it was natural!
6
If Musharraf ji himself can get carried away in 'excitement', then these were just youngsters, with even more testosterone flowing through their veins, with whatever else it is that flows!
So yes, natural reaction onlee!
🤪 Image
7
As per the coach saheb, it was just a 'small' incident blown out of proportion!
Indeed!
The visuals say it all - REALLY Small incident, perhaps by Paaki standards! Image
8
Of course, he had apologised right after the 'small' incident.
But being a true Packie that he was, he later shouted that he was FORCED to apologise!
How might that have happened, well, we shall never know because the gent never explained it further.
INDIAN CAANSPIRAACY, u see!
9
In all of the 'outburst' by that idiot as recounted in the news report I shared above in the thread, there is not an iota of regret at the shameful incident.
Instead, there are justifications galore.
And of course, allegations of INDIAN CAANSPIRAACY!
10
He even wanted the Pakistan Hockey Federation to take up the case with the Federation of Indian Hockey.
Yup, they have FINALLY taken up the case - by BEGGING to play with India again!
11/11
But here too, the desperate plea by the Bhikharistani Hockey Federation is presented as an offer for MUTUAL benefit!
Some Chutzpah, I must say!
Nangey Hain, lekin Confidence poora hai!
Aao, hockey khelte hain inke saath!
12/12
One more tweet to add to the thread.
Chor bhi hain ye log!
Keep them away and keep away from them, I'd say! Image

Ah, well, looks like the above tweet has touched a 'chord' somewhere and gathered quite a few eyeballs despite the #ShadowBan that my handle seems to be under.
To celebrate that, here's another one!
🤣
And one more from the pious one for Dearest Abdullah!

#NDTV - An ENGLISH news channel - gets a higher rating than Hindi channels in the UNITED KINGDOM.
Yes, they surely deserve to go to town with this!
🤣 Image
We at the #NDTV will gleefully mock 'WhatsApp University', but in reality, THAT is where we too sometimes source our news from! Of course, getting our backsides whooped with REAL news is part of the 'game'! Image
Oh, talking about 'WhatsApp University', I'll just leave this photograph of a gleeful #NDTV employee here without any further comment! Image

On the second anniversary of the Balakot Strike, dubbed #PulwamaRevenge, replugging a thread I wrote early that morning, ending up getting late for office!
MUST HAVE A LOOK.

Today marks the second anniversary of the attempted 'retort' to the Balakot Strike by the PAF, only to end up losing an F-16 to a MiG-21 of all the planes in the IAF inventory!
And to cap it, they ended up with a hot potato in the form of Wg Cdr Abhinandan in their hands!
Replugging a thread I wrote on that day, even as the events were still unfolding.

I was putting off tweeting about these men, since I knew the mood would only go downhill hereafter.
But then, it is definitely a day to remember the #14FebPulwamaBravehearts.
Let me share my jumbled, angry thoughts about that dastardly attack ..
I still remember that evening as the news of the attack came in and the casualty count just kept on going higher and higher. I was having dinner at my boss' place that evening. It was supposed to be a light evening, but it was anything but that.
#14FebPulwamaBravehearts
I doubt anyone of us was actually 'attending' that party that evening. Despite being physical present there, we were lost in our own worlds of emotions as the gravity of the event sunk in.
There wasn't much conversation that night, despite quite a few 'talkative' guys amongst us.

/THREAD/

Folks, sharing some thoughts on the farmers' protest, twitter, Koo etc. Let's see how it goes!
Let me begin by talking about the wave of euphoria that the global 'liberal' ecosystem has been riding ever since the defeat of Donald Trump in the just concluded US Presidential elections.
I'm not going to comment upon the controversies surrounding the conduct of the election because frankly, it doesn't matter anymore .. atleast not for the time being.
However, fact remains that social as well as mainstream media played a BIG role during that election.

Ok folks, so I came across this report a few weeks ago.
This report talks about reorienting bulk of 1 Corps of the Indian Army towards the China border in Ladakh.
Sharing some thoughts on the issue.
Here goes ..
theprint.in/defence/army-p…
In essence, what this means is that atleast two divisions of the Indian Army will reorient, and possibly physically locate, to Ladakh, along with the Headquarters of the 1 Corps.
Frankly, this is a much needed exercise in order to plug own vulnerabilities in that region.
However, this movement / reorientation of two infantry divisions towards the LAC also means that there are going to be two divisions less in case of a contingency demanding their application on the Pakistan border.
This is what I intend to talk about here in this thread.
