.@eucopresident: In many ways, the path of the future world order will be set in the Indo-Pacific region. The Indo-Pacific region has become a global economic and political center-of-gravity, and the EU is closely linked to it through trade, investment and mobility #Raisina2021

.@eucopresident: The EU has a large stake in the openness and stability of the Indo-Pacific region. The EU is about to set out for the first time a comprehensive and strategic approach to this region #Raisina2021

.@eucopresident: India and the EU must come together to make the world a better, fairer and safer place. We value human rights, equal opportunities, gender equality and the rule of law — we share the same multilateralist DNA. #Raisina2021

.@eucopresident: We propose to focus on four areas of #IndiaEU cooperation — #COVID19, fighting #ClimateChange, boosting our economic cooperation, and security and peace. #Raisina2021

.@eucopresident: Both India and Europe are major producers of vaccines. Together through COVAX, we support low- and middle-income countries in their vaccination efforts. This has led to COVAX delivering over 38 million doses across the globe. #Raisina2021

.@eucopresident: The European Green Deal along with our Digital Agenda is at the heart of our economic recovery strategy. But fighting #ClimateChange and stopping the loss of biodiversity requires the leadership of all major economies.#Raisina2021

.@eucopresident: The EU is India’s top trade and investment partner. We are now ready to develop the huge potential for more trade, more jobs, and more growth. This will make our economies more resilient. #Raisina2021

.@eucopresident: About 40% of our trade passes through the Indian Ocean. So the EU also has a strong interest in the maritime security of the Indian Ocean region #Raisina2021
