Very encouraging results from #SRB this morning.

Production now above 8,000 oz and more importantly, grades have increased from 5.27g/t (Q4) to 6.27 g/t.

"this first quarter was expected to deliver the lowest level of gold production for 2021."
2/
This represents a "16 per cent improvement on our internal budget represents an excellent result."

FY guidance held at between 33,000 and 36,000 oz.

Even if we take the "internal budget" to be the lowest end fig. 33,000 oz, a 16% improvement means that actual production...
3/
should be capable of coming in at c. 38,000 oz.

The uplift in grades demonstrates that the company was correct. That it's about optionality, which should now keep on improving given that,
4/
"3,573 metres of horizontal development completed during the quarter, the highest development rate since current operations commenced."

So they look to be getting ahead once more, which should continue to show itself in the production figures as the year develops.
5/
To hit 45,000 oz in 2022, Q4 2021 has to be delivering c. 10-11,000 oz, meaning continued improvement through Q2/Q3 to get there.

All of that adds up to production outstripping the top end guidance, be it that I understand why they are holding back on saying this for now.
6/
With Coringa looking likely to start in earnest by mid year and significant exploration drilling underway, I'm liking what I see here in what is a very healthy gold price environment for the company.

Here in Germany, we have already reached the point that my local grocery shop is selling rapid antigen tests.

Their product of choice is Hotgen, produced by a company out of Beijing.

Claims SENS 95.3% and SPEC 99.13% with the anterior nasal method.

There is now an unbelievable number of different products on the market in Germany, with the most popular being fairly local names, Roche and Siemens.

Both of these tests are being employed in school and kindergartens. Both employ nasal swab.

Schools testing twice weekly.
3/
Kindergartens are giving parents two tests per week and encouraging their use.

The Roche test is essentially the SD Biosensor test the Siemens is Healgen. Both of which went through Porton Down but apparently weren't contracted.

Having spent so long studying the market,

Interesting deal announced between Brisbane based @VeccoTom and Shanghai Electric for the supply of an electrolyte plant in Australia.

Yet another sign of momentum that is gathering in the VRFB inudusty.

Shanghai Electric recently announced plans for a 100MW/400MWh VRFB project in Yancheng in east China's Jiangsu province.

One of several high profile projects and which alone should demand c. 1,600 mtV of vanadium,

Just one project.

The latest Chinese vanadium market update and shows bullishness.

It's the middle of the month and so steel mill bidding is at best sporadic and market weakness should be expected.

However, key V205 prices simply aren't giving any ground and it's hard to...

find supplies from large factories.

Rather interestingly ammonium metavanadate prices are also creeping higher, whilst everyone else is deadlocked but reluctant to accept lower prices.

Larger factory prices such as Pangang will be interesting to see later in the month.

Latest vanadium price report and the wording on raw materials (V205).

"some (V205) manufacturers think the price will rise, so the offer is firm.

"V2O5 flake price is in cash 111,000 CNY/Ton."

What I liked most about the @BushveldMin_Ltd update today, was that it was focused on an isolated but important project for #BMN. Thus allowing it to breathe a tad more and not get lost in the lengthy and often detailed updates, that are the norm.

I would like to see the company continue with this pattern moving forward.

As to the update, very solid but it will now be all about how long NERSA need to sign off on the license application. Being 1MW, its certainly falls within their powers to act quickly but what that..

...means exactly, will act as a template for future BMN projects at their facilities and indeed across S.A.

Great to see Enerox staking a claim in this particular area of the business too. They were always going to be the focus due to the increased ownership and control...

UK retail investors continue to fixate on UK Gov contracts for #AVCT tests, as the cornerstone of their success.

A CE Mark means Europe wide sales for professional use, are at their disposal. That means all European businesses/governments.
2/5
Given these are a relatively new and cheaper form of testing, whose demand will fall short of their supply, then why do UK retail investors feel they must win UK contracts to sell.

Furthermore, given the highlighted demand and ease with which the European market can be...
3/5
...accessed, plus the fact that other tests keep coming to the fore and supposedly stealing potential AVCT contracts, the question continues to remain, why has AVCT, as late as 30t Sept, still only focused on the UK?

At the current £265m MC, #AVCT needs to sell min. what? c. 25-30m (e.g) tests in the first year.

Will a vaccine prevent them from achieving that? No.

Will they likely sell far more than that? In my opinion, yes.

By 2022, AVCT/partners will highly likely be bringing new..

...non Covid tests to the market, to replace any potential lost revenue from Covid tests.

They will also have advanced their LG Chem, Moderna and Daewong partnerships, as well as having AVA6000 results, which in turn will advance other drugs in their PreCISION stable.
3/3
The more their Covid tests contribute to this, the more the other areas of the business can flourish.

Its all about time and patience, which I am happy to contribute.

Yes the drop's an opportunity for those that got out and want to get back in, but that's not my style.
