Tadashi Maeda: The concept of a free and open Indo-Pacific was introduced by the former Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, during his speech at the Indian parliament in 2007. #Raisina2021

Tadashi Maeda: We need to demonstrate how the QUAD partnerships are robust and strong in countering China. #Raisina2021

.@kjsong2004: The Indo-Pacific has a very positive economic outlook and the region will bounce back strongly after the pandemic, provided that we manage it properly. #Raisina2021

.@kjsong2004: The region is likely to benefit from the huge fiscal packages in the US, which will boost domestic consumption demand, leading to growth in US imports from the Indo-Pacific nations. #Raisina2021

.@kjsong2004: The Indo-Pacific is set to be the growth engine for the region and the world, as it has been for some time now. #Raisina2021

.@kjsong2004: The Indo-Pacific is also the testbed for reducing global income inequality and ensuring rules-based international order in the region. #Raisina2021

Kaush Arha: The QUAD is more than capable in addressing the COVID-19 vaccination shortages, although the main issues lie with the lack of ambition, scope and branding of QUAD's activities. #Raisina2021

Kaush Arha: Today we are in an ideological struggle - socialism with Chinese characteristics which can only be strongly rebutted by democracies with Asian characteristics. #Raisina2021

Kaush Arha: We also need to rebut the state capitalistic model with models based on free markets and free societies. #Raisina2021

Kaush Arha: The biggest thing that India has got going is its soft power approach, which China can never match. #Raisina2021
