From Brazil, India, South Africa, and Argentina, these midcap companies went through the #GSIV selection process and emerged as the most impactful and investment-ready ventures providing products and services to facilitate access to health care at the bottom of the pyramid.
Working collectively in 27 countries, and reaching nearly 600,000 users across the globe, their services mainly rely on Artificial Intelligence applications, teleradiology technology, and life-saving IoB devices.
They are looking to raise between USD 250,000 and 10 million in grants, equity, or debt to scale their impact and operations. This is yet another win for healthcare. I am always excited about the unity between health and tech. Look out for these ones! 👏🏼

While herbs are therapeutic, the problem is the lack of regulation, and false sense of safety it provides.
You live recklessly, then fall back on high-dose herbs as a safety net. Risky.
I don’t advocate sugary foods. I just need to let us know that our bodies interprete “sugar differently”. So, yam, fufu, amala, eba... all are sugars. And healthy foods, can be tasty.
Though refined sugars are not so healthy...
Drinking bitters, doesn’t prevent diabetes either.
So a ‘nurse’ told an acquaintance that her diagnosis of ovarian cyst is because she has no sexual experience.
She also advised her to “try and be having sex from time to time”.
Also, told her other scary unverified balderdash.
My first question: “A qualified nurse?”
Silence.
Owing to poverty and ignorance a lot of people seek healthcare in every other place but the hospital.
I understand.
However, “Penny wise... pound foolish”.
It’s best to spend that initial time and money seeking out a specialist. Else, you might spend more in the long run.
I later got to find out that this woman who claims to be a nurse, just owns a chemist shop and once worked as an auxiliary nurse in a private hospital back in the day.
She had initially flooded her with antibiotics from an imaginary PID! Before she finally got a scan diagnosis.
A very big welcome to everyone joining today’s conversation. Our guest today needs no introduction especially in the sphere of cancer control and advocacy. Welcome @runciecwc #CheatCervicalCancer
@SMILEWithmeNGO@runciecwc That’s amazing. Your work speaks for you. Thanks for all you do.
Q2: What is this @WHO Global Strategy to accelerate the Elimination of CervicalCancer? Can you elaborate on it? #CheatCervicalCancer
I have questions.
I stressed myself to get NIN from NIMC in 2015, it wasn’t until 2018 I got called for the permanent card.
Guess what. Card expires in 2020.
Sorry, you want me to go through that stress again?
It’s you people’s identity that will expire.
Now yesterday...
I spent half my day at the MTN store waiting time get a sim upgrade, having been busy the whole year.
Just when it got to me... we were told that NCC had stopped the process.
Now, we are hearing we have until 30th December to upgrade our sim with NIN or get blocked.
Block heads.
How is it that in a world were everyone is innovatively progressing, our country is taking huge steps backward.
Why not automate the NIN and SIM upgrade process (Self service!). Why bring people together in a pandemic, during the holidays with a threat hanging above their heads.

3) All it takes is agile sperm cells to swim up for fertilization. The fluid is just a medium.
So sis, bring your leg down🤗
You’re good.
A lot of women, especially those looking to conceive have been led to believe you need to prop your leg up a wall to let the semen ‘enter’ your womb.
Unless, you’re doing this for the fun of it... it hasn’t actually been shown to contribute to your fertility chances.
After ejaculation,
Some of the sperm will remain in the back of the vagina (the posterior fornix). An even smaller amount makes its way up through the cervix, into the uterus and down the fallopian tubes. Sperm (cell) travels quickly, so within minutes, it’s enroute fallopian.
