Right now, the National Guard is staging in the parking lot of the recently re-built Target across the street from the burned-out shell of the Minneapolis PD 3rd precinct building.

On my way home, I counted at least four National Guard staging areas, in bank parking lots and grocery stores, including one a block and a half from my house in Northeast Minneapolis.
