Nobody is infringing on anyone’s individual rights. We’re calling for background checks on PEOPLE, not guns. Mandatory Safety courses for PEOPLE, not guns. Stricter negligence penalties for PEOPLE, not guns. This isn’t about just the guns, it’s the people too.

Many law abiding Gun owners are in favor of these reforms. Sadly, the National Rifle Association is lobbying for a status quo that sees countless of American lives lost to what seems to be an endless amount of tragic shootings.

Finally, these shootings occur in both Red AND Blue States. It’s an issue that sadly effects every American, no matter their Race, Religion, or Political Preference. Gun Violence is a heartbreaking epidemic in this country.

Therefore, Commonsensical Legislation is way better than doing nothing. The Senate MUST act immediately by passing #HR8 & #HR1446. Both chambers of congress should also pass #JaimesLaw🧡. Let’s curb this Epidemic ASAP!
