PPB has received information that people in this crowd have broken out windows on NW 23rd
Many people in this crowd are engaging in violent tumultuous conduct likely to cause a grave risk of public alarm.
PPB is making announcements for the crowd to disperse to the north from NW 23/Hoyt. Crowd conduct is a riot. People there are directed north. Any who commit crimes may be subject to cites, arrest, crowd control agents included but not limited to tear gas and/or impact weapons.

We're starting to get photos of some of the damage that led to the march becoming a riot. This is a coffee shop on 1300 block of NW 23rd Ave.

This graffiti was applied to a bus shelter at NW 21/Northrup.
A restaurant was tagged with graffiti at NW 21 Ave and Northrup St.
UPDATE: One person has been arrested for crimes committed during the riot. The rioters appear to have wandered away from Northwest Portland. Officers are patrolling the area.
