Two separate marches have begun in Downtown Portland, both blocking traffic. The first began in Waterfront Park and crossed the Hawthorne Bridge and has been peaceful. Another started in Director Park and participants have been seen breaking windows. Officers responding now.

Participants in the riot have been seen attempting to burglarize businesses. Leave the area to the west. Failure to do so may subject you to arrest and/or the use of force, including but not limited to impact munitions and tear gas.
To clarify, only the march involving criminal activity has been declared a riot. The other event is not. At least one person has been arrested in the riot.
Windows smashed at Oregon Historical Society. 
Officers are making more arrests, and hostile crowd is surrounding them. Do not interfere with the officers as they take lawful action. This is a riot. Leave the area to the west.
Officers are moving to Southwest 4th Avenue and Southwest Salmon Street for a bonfire in the street. Unified Command with @PDXFire determined it was too dangerous and needed to be extinguished.
There's now a dumpster on fire at SW 4th Ave/SW Taylor St. PPB and @PDXFire is responding to put it out.
