Things not worth thinking about. 1. Thoughts of regrets:
- Repentance is expected when you realize your mistake; repentance is positive while regret is negative.
- Godly sorrow produces godly repentance. 2Corinthians 7:9-11
- Don't live with the consequences of choices you've made in the past, stop the pity party and trust God's grace to see you through. Acts 9:16
2. Thoughts of rejection:
- Note that it's not everyone that will celebrate you. John 1:12
- The fact that you're rejected today does not mean you won't be celebrated tomorrow.
- Don't take rejection too far. You're not in a popularity contest but to please God alone.
- Jesus died for all but not all have accepted Him.
3. Thoughts of rancor: psalm 37:8
- Ephesians 4:31
- Do not take thoughts of rejection too far.
- You have to walk away from any thoughts or circumstances that drains or saps your energy; it is the devil's plan in using it to stop you from making progress.
