Gird up your loins-be dressed for service...,

- This simply means to get one's self prepared for the next phase. This is the courage needed to achieve the next thing.

This, as seen in Job 38:3 NKJV, is talking about preparation for the next task, assignment, mission.

Girding up one's loin is symbolic of gathering enough strength. Isaiah 5:27. It is also to be smart.
Jerimiah 13:11.

- You need to Gird up your loins because there might be a storm. Exodus 12:11.

God is preparing you for the next move, God already knew the way out for you even before the storm is sighted. Exodus 14:15.

It could mean getting ready for an unusual experience.
