Of the 1,583 new cases that were found in the past 24 hours:

- 1,366 were found via tests at medical facilities
- 213 via proactive tests
- 4 in quarantine facilities

The 3rd wave had led to 36,290 cases and 109 deaths between April 1 and 30.

Currently, there are 28,696 patients who are being treated at hospitals. Of that, 871 are in critical condition including 250 on ventilators.

Of the 1,579 local cases, the highest numbers by province were 417 in Bangkok, followed by 138 in Samut Prakan, 131 in Chonburi, 66 Chiang Mai, 50 in Nonthaburi and 48 in Samut Sakhon.
